Vodafone Review

In a nutshell: Vodafone is one of the "big 4" mobile networks in the UK.

Vodafone was the UK's first mobile network and made the UK's first mobile phone call back in 1985. It launched 3G services in 2004 and is one of the largest mobile operators in the world.

Vodafone has the worst customer service that I have ever experienced from any company. I was offered an upgrade which when received was only 8gb whilst my other phone was 16gb. I sent it back after one day and there the drama enfolded. I have spent over 6 hours on the phone on several separate occasions to try to sort this issue. Yesterday I gave up and contacted Vodafone to cancel my contract - they did not even ask why - they do not value their individual customers and I think their BIG revenue is corporate hence the appalling service. To add fuel to the fire...the Vodafone customer assistance told me yesterday that my contract would be cancelled and would come into affect within 2 hours (I have a transcript of this conversation)...needless to say today it was still active! Called again today to find out why and was told that they did not have this on record but not to worry as the current operator would do it for me then. I asked to speak to a manager and was told I would get a call back from the manager to explain why this has happened...LOL of course that did not happen either...
The operators do not seem to know what they are doing and are constantly giving incorrect information or not fulfilling what they are telling me they will do. They are also rude and condescending.
It astounds me that they get away with this shoddy service. I will never ever use a Vodafone service again. (Not that they particularly care!)

I have been with Vodafone from 1996 and am now so hacked off with their totally USELESS customer service that I am looking at leaving them. They might have the best signal/coverage but that does not make up for the fact that they charge OUTRAGEOUS amounts if you go over your minutes allowance, and not only that but I have been trying for nearly TWO YEARS to get them to change my name and address details. Every time I get on the phone to one of their "customer service" team, they assure me that they have sorted my account out...and it has been messed up even more. RUBBISH!

My husband and myself and 2 teenage daughters have been with Vodafone now for 6years and I have NEVER had any problems they are always very helpful and explain things too you so its not confusing ....and if you have any problem they really do go out their way to fix it .....the signal where most places we go are great only rare do we lose signal this is usually because its in the middle of nowhere ..so on the whole Vodafone are a friendly and helpful mobile phone provider well done Vodafone !!!!!

My original Galaxy sadly was stolen from car.My replacement which eventually arrived after initial refusal to replace, had to produce broken car side window pictures etc and glove box where phone was stored. anyway the replacement phone although looking identical to original galaxy s was different in lots of ways and (maybe because I am 74) i cannot get on with it.Its too fiddely, battery runs out too quickly, confusing phone number system etc.Took it to tenerife did not use it came home with a £250 bill because I had not switched off 'roaming'....all I need is a reliable mobile do I need all this !!

2G network is ok but the 3g network is total rubbish, hardly any HSDPA high speed coverage anywhere and shockingly bad reception compared to 2G. Was on the "3" network previously which was outstanding compared to this rubbish. TERRIBLE
