the O2 network to supply its services, giving it

Deliberate deception??? Probably the worst customer service I have experienced!
I feel I have been deliberately misled by literature which says "it
takes about two days to transfer your number over. Its really easy to
do and you can use your phone as normal while it's being transferred."
AFTER purchasing a contract, I was then told that whilst the number
port was going through, there would be a minimum of 2 hours but up to
4 hours where I would not be able to use either sim ie. no service!!!
I thought a weekend port might be more convenient then. A Tesco Mobile
'manager' told me that Ofcom insist they only do number ports between
8am and 4pm on working days. I emailed Ofcom and was told this is simply
NOT the case. Ofcom say the number port must be completed within one
day (NOT Tesco's 2 days!). Worst of all, was being denied the opportunity
to speak to anyone in authority at Tesco Mobile, being kept on hold
endlessly in hope of the next person I was put through to not just being
a trained parrot repeating a script & anticipating on a bonus of extra
seeds for gate-keeping. Alas! Poor show Tesco! Shame on you! Does not
inspire confidence.

I am very distressed to find that my U.K.calls and texts are being charged
at international rates when the number entered starts with +44
My first month, I was billed for more than £60 above the contract charge
paid for monthly usage.
This is unacceptable.

In a nutshel, they use o2 network, but you don't get the same coverage
as o2, the data allowance unlimited is very limited, and I had to turn
the data off on my iphone as it constantly needed more than the allowance.
Data charges are very high on this network.
Used purely for calls, not a bad deal, but not great if you have a modern
smart phone.

If you don't cap the data you will end up with a hugh bill (£400) only
then the phone will be barred, they don't send any message when nearing
the end of your allowance, they say to check your bill online but this
is a 5/8 hr delay now changing network

In a nutshell, I think Tesco Mobile (via the O2 network) is a brilliant
network (touch wood) it has never failed me, where the likes of Vodaphone-
that I've heard of - have fallen on its face at least twice in the last
year or possibly 2...more than I could possibly handle!!
I have been with Tesco Mobile for 5 years and not even had a whimper
of a problem (so far!!)

Tesco Mobile is my mobile network and it is really good. By buying mobiles
you can earn club-card points when you top up or buy a mobile phone.
Also, when you top up £10-£15 sometimes it triples your credit! (This
depends when offers are on) The only problems with Tesco Mobile is that
on text messages they only allow 160 characters and if you sent a long
text (more than 160 characters) it will charge you double tthe average
amount which is 10p. I would recommend Tesco mobile to everyone!

all texts are 160 characters on every network- if you write more than
this it always counts as two texts...

Terrible Service, better go with a more established network provider.
