Review:
June 2009.
Sony Ericsson have really revved up with the release
of the W995. Not only is this a flagship Walkman phone, but it also
matches the camera capabilities of the Cyber-Shot range. And it's
priced as a mid-range phone, so in value for money terms, it's going
to be a hard act to beat.
Unlike the weird clamshell design of its predecessor,
the W980i, the W995 has a
straightforward slide design. Although the phone isn't particularly
slim, the top half that contains the display is just a few millimetres
thick, with the bulk of the phone in the lower half. This makes
the phone quite easy to hold when texting, and the keypad is quite
ergonomic, even though from photos the buttons look like they are
too small. The TFT screen is typical for this price range, with
a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The built-in accelerometer automatically
rotates the screen between landscape and portrait modes.
The camera is definitely a step up from the usual
Walkman range. With 8.1 megapixels, face detection autofocus and
a flash, this phone can easily compete with the mid-range Cyber-Shot
phones for image quality. Video quality is good too, and the phone
supports video calling on a 3G network.
The music player is the latest Walkman player 4.0,
and supports a range of advanced features such as album art, SensMe
which lets you create playlists based on tempo and mood, shake control,
equalise and shuffle. There's also an FM radio with RDS to display
the station and song that you're listening to. The phone supports
the latest audio innovations from Sony: Clear Bass and Clear Stereo.
And we're delighted to see that there's a 3.5mm audio jack, so that
compatible third-party headphones can be used as well as the premium
quality headphones supplied. Flight mode lets you disable the transmitter
but still access the music player and other media functions.
Sony Ericsson are really pushing the multimedia
capabilities of the W995. For example, MediaGo automatically
converts music and movie files when transferring them from your
PC. The PlayNow store has been expanded so that you can now
download movies (for a charge) as well as music. But watching full
length movies on a 2.6 inch screen isn't the most obvious way to
spend your free time. But the ability to watch YouTube videos is
a welcome addition, as is the inclusion of the BBC iPlayer and the
Sky Player on Three. Facebook is also integrated into the home screen.
The accelerometer that automatically rotates the
display and enables the music shake control also lets you play motion
sensitive games, and there are a range of 3D games available for
this phone. The phone also has a-GPS which can be used to automatically
geo-tag images and can be used with Google Maps to show you where
you are. A trial version of the Wayfinder navigation software is
included too.
The available memory is 118MB, which is enough
for 30 - 50 music tracks, and this is expandable to 16GB with a
Memory Stick Micro.
The W995 is a well connected phone. In addition
to 3G and quadband GSM it supports HSDPA for super-fast data transfer,
and WiFi so that you can access data via your connected PC or a
WiFi hotspot. The WiFi is DNLA-compatible, which makes it easier
to connect to other DNLA-compatible devices around your home. The
phone will also connect via USB or Bluetooth.
Battery life is typical for a flagship Walkman
phone, which is to say that it's about average and will last a couple
of days before recharging.
There's nothing that we can find to fault with
the W995 and it seems to us to offer outstandingly good value for
money - much better than the C905
Cyber-Shot phone for example. It's available for free on mid-range
deals (around the £20 - £30 per month level), yet it
seems to offer the kind of features that you'd expect from a top-of-the-range
3G phone. The initial user reviews have been excellent too, which
makes us optimistic that this will be a problem-free handset with
no software errors or build quality issues, and so we're awarding
this one the full 5 stars.
Features of the Sony Ericsson W995 include:
8.1 megapixel camera with face detection autofocus,
16x digital zoom, image stabiliser, geo-tagging and flash
Video capture with stabiliser and video light

I got the phone this morning and have spent all day playing with
it. Having had the Sony Ericsson K750i and then the K800i I was
loathe to change manufacturers and I am certainly not disappointed
- what an amazing phone! (I've previously had several nokias, a
samsung D600, Samsung D900, the LG shine and the Samsung Omnia to
compare it with). I've just loaded the entire contents of my ipod
onto the phone with no problems at all and the little speakers that
came with the phone are amazing! The camera seems okay but have
yet to fiddle with the settings and it is, after all, a phone not
a purpose built camera so I'm not expecting HD quality photos! Texting
has been fine no problems there, same with calls. It seems to have
a lot of games which I've not yet played (saving those til the kids
are in bed). I got the black model but love it in red too (however
not sure I'd feel the same in 2 years time?!?). Definitely the best
phone I've ever owned and if, like me, you mainly text, take photos
and listen to a bit of music this is the phone for you. Enjoy!! Rating:

For the guy that was looking to send the animations (smiling man,
laughing man, devil etc) that you could send with previous SE phones
e.g. K850, K800 etc then the only way I know is to debrand it to
T-Mobile R1EA032 firmware - this lets you send the animated pictures
as well as smilies for free as part of an SMS. Otherwise its 30p

silver one - suffers from too much slider wobble...black is better. Rating:

I have got to say this is one of the best phones I have ever had.
I actually returned my Samsung i8910HD phone to get this. One of
the reasons was I hated the touch screen phone. For whatever reason,
I missed the touch pad as I find it easier to use and navigate my
way around the menu. Another reason I love this phone is it's sooo
easy to use, the options given are clear and you always find some
function you need to perform an easy task. The W995 has a great
menu with options to change the theme and clear symbols. The speakers
on the phone are better than any other phone I have had or seen.
The walkman part of the phone is fantastic, everything is stored
so is easy to locate. I downloaded a movie and watched it whilst
at work. The screen may be a bit on the small side for movies but
you can still enjoy a clear picture with great colours and sound.
The camera was also extremeley good and I was pleasantly surprised
by the good quality of the video capture. It also has fantastic
sound. My only complaint with this phone is that it seems a little
fragile, very plasticky. Other than that, I'm hugely impressed and
also abit sad. I think this may be in the line of the last great
touchpad phonbes which offer everything you need without the extra
bits you don't. With manufacturers concentrating on touch screen
phones, I will enjoy my w995 as it will be the last of the walkman
range. Rating:

got a w995 a couple of months ago and as far as the phone itself
is concered you couldnt fault it, its as good as your top of the
range smart phones but with a better camera and music player, it
came with an 8gb memory card which was great value for money and
the phone looks nice its simple and easy to use and has loads of
usefull apps. i would recommed getting an unlimited internet accsess
package since the apps and the internet browser on this phone are
definitly worth using. texting is easy as the buttons are easy to
use and it sits nicely in your hand and the messages streaming (conversation
mode) is great and is identical to the one on my boyfriends iphone
but quicker. unfortunatly i have had a few problems with the phone
over the past couple of months at first it wouldnt charge and my
handset was replaced and then a couple of weeks later it rejected
my sim card and had to be sent away for over 3 weeks to be fixed,
by the looks of these faults it was a software type problem but
i did get the phone very soon after it was released and faults are
common in the first few batches. All in all i'd probaly even pick
this phone over the iphone since it does all the same things without
the annoying touch screen and is much smaller with a better camera
by far. Rating:

I'm a big fan of SE phones, had the w810i for 2.5 years as it was
such a good phone! I needed to find a worthy replacement for it
which came in the form of the excellent W995! This is easily the
best phone I've ever owned. The camera is superb and an absolute
joy to use. The mp3 player is also fantastic - I have hundreds of
my favourite tracks on the phone which i play through my surround
sound system at home simply by plugging the phone in via the 3.5mm
jack at the top!! I don't even need a stereo anymore, just plug
the phone in and I'm away listening to my music in 5.1 surround!
The GPS is also superb and has come in very useful so far. I regularly
use the net access on the phone for checking facebook and the bbc
site for news and weather. Texting is now much easier with the easy
to use conversations function too. One of the things that used to
annoy me with the w810i was not being able to listen to music when
it was plugged in and charging. Not so with the W995 as it comes
with a special charger with an adaptor built in so you can listen
to music whilst it's charging. Excellent! Only bad points for me
are having to scroll through all my tracks to find the one I want
rather than having a quick find function. That would have been really
handy. Apart from that though everything else is just perfect imo.
Interesting to note that someone else on Orange has had to replace
their phone twice because of a fault - I'm actually on my 3rd W995
as the first 2 that Orange supplied me turned out to be faulty but
the phone is just too good to replace it with anything else. I'm
wondering if Orange received a bad batch of W995's or something.
Anyway, outstanding phone from SE and thoroughly recommended. Rating:

I've had this phone a couple of weeks now, and I LOVE it! It looks
and feels such good quality. Really enjoying the 'conversations'
function in text messaging - it's so much easier and quicker than
standard messaging. The camera is fantastic overall (although the
digital zoom is pretty rubbish compared to optical zoom on your
average digital camera - but hey, it's a phone!) The sound quality
is great through the built-in speakers and amazing through the supplied
in-earphones and the free tube speaker which it comes with. NB,
you have to attach the cover from the top of the speakers to the
back to create a stand - no more falling over!! The Media Go software
is a vast improvement on the old Media Manager, and I'm enjoying
some of the free podcasts - have even started learning Spanish thanks
to this phone! Gracias! I'm also really enjoying being able to get
updated BBC news headlines every hour, and seeing my friends' facebook
updates scrolling across the main screen. I'm not having any problems
with signal, texting (you get used to the buttons pretty quickly,
in my opinion), or battery life. The battery has run down pretty
quickly a couple of times, but it seems only fair enough as I am
putting the phone to so much use! The standby time is really impressive.
Just a couple of very minor negative points.... I had the W960i
previously and it was possible on the Walkman on that, when you
had shuffle turned on, to scroll through the upcoming song list
- and to remove any you didn't fancy listening to. I may be missing
something, but it doesn't seem to be possible to do that on this
new version of the Walkman - it seems strange that they would have
removed this function. Having said that, I am still getting to grips
with the SensMe application, so maybe this will prove to be an improvement.
I'm also having trouble getting my phone verified on the PlayNow
Arena for the free movies it promises - but I expect this is less
of an issue with the phone than with PlayNow. Overall I definitely
give this phone 5 stars. I am a big fan of Sony Ericsson and this
is their best phone yet! Rating:

My Grandma, Yes! My Grandma Recently Purchased This Phone, I Dont
know why but she did. Nevertheless i think its a great phone but
quite big for my small hands. Camera is Great, music player is great
as well, however the volume key is very small and even when you
find it its hard to get it to function. Texting is quite troublesome
for me as i find the keys too flat and have to push very hard (something
i'm not quite used to as my current phone is the Samsung Tocco lite)
My grandma has also been complaining about the call volume being
low as well, but overall its a great phone for music and its camera.
Not so great for small hands with fat fingers though. And people
who have gotten used to touch screen phones although that might
just be me. "D Rating:

Had this phone for a few weeks now, so in a position to say what
I think is good, and bad about it. Camera is great, but no xenon
flash, Web brower with wifi works well, but the BBC iPlayer can
not be used to download programs to watch later! (at least not at
the time of writing this), only to watch programs there and then,
and even then the quality isn't great. I found the volume buttons
WAY too small to use, and if used when playing music, would always
hit the huge buttons for playback instead! Also the call volume
is far too quiet at full volume. Texting isn't that easy as the
buttons are too flat, and it's easy to hit two at the same time.
But my biggest problem, bearing in mind that at the end of the day
this is a phone, is that indoors, (outside seems fine) the signal
is rubbish! Im on Orange, and compared to my last phone on Orange,
and phones of friends, and my work phone, this is the worst. I think
they have put the internal antenna on the right of the phone, so
if you are right handed, like most of the country! the signal just
drops indoors when the phone is in your hand, especially when texting!
As soon as I put the phone down, the signal shoots up to full bars.
Because of this I give it 3 stars, because to me, strange I know,
but I expect above everything else for a phone to work well as a
phone, to make calls and text wherever I may be!! Apart from that
the phone is packed full of features, does everything you could
want, built well, although no cover for the camera, and looks great. Rating:

I've had this phone a month and think it's great, however there
are a few drawbacks that I feel should be mentioned. Speed, the
phone is quite slow, particularly the camera when starting up, and
saving pictures, if you want to catch something on film quickly
- forget it!. The interface is frustratingly slow, particularly
showing thumbnails for videos and pictures etc making browsing quite
difficult. Some messages are animated and expand and shrink into
view, however this also takes time, I'd rather have no animtions
if the phone isn't up to the job of rendering them quickly. Also
the phone freezes for a few seconds and doesn't respond to key presses,
and then actions several of your key presses all at once and you
end up in another menu unexpectedly. The "sony ericcson" silver
logo has come away and the buttons show signs of scratching already,
even after careful use. The media-go software seems a bit flaky.
BBC Iplyaer doesnt work. Having said that, the phone is pretty remarkable
for functionality, but just could be a bit quicker and more responsive.

Picked up mine last week, and it was fine for the first 3 days.
Now it constantly restarts and reboots and there is a dead pixel
in the bottom left. I was hoping that the W995 would be different,
but just like most Sony Ericssons, it's impossible to own one more
than a week or more without the hardware and/or software going wrong.
After i get it repaired, i'm selling it to get a Samsung - at least
they're quite reliable. Lots of people get this phone and think
it's brilliant at first, and then they write a review stating so.

This phone does all that I want from a mobile(at the moment!) and
does it all well.I was apprehensive about moving from Nokia to SE
as everyone I know who has bought SE over the last couple of years
has had similar problems eg speaker, build quality, crashes, reboots.
I have had the phone for over two weeks now and have had no problems
at all. Build quality is spot on. Nothing new in the user interface
compared to recent SE phones so if you like using them there are
no surprises. I do have to say that I am dissapointed with the camera.
Forget 8 megapixels, this one bears no comparison to a C905 or Nokia
5 MP. Its sharp enough but if you compare shots on a pc, the W995
lacks contrast, has a distinct green/yellow hue and pics generally
look much lower resolution due to the poor image processing. They
do look fine on the phone screen and that is probably enough for
most people. The music player is the best I have heard on a phone

Had this phone [in black] for two weeks now on Orange (and happy
to finally have a phone from them without all the ridiculous branding
and Orange-set menus etc!) Very impressive phone, been waiting for
it's release since it's announcement way back in Feb to replace
my ageing K850 and the wait has been worth it. Screen resolution
perfectly clear, buttons are easy to press, menus look great and
the inclusion of BBC iPlayer and YouTube are welcome additions.
Picks up Wi-Fi without any problems [so far] and web browser is
fast enough if a little fidgety at times. No phone is perfect however;
there are a few minor personal niggles which may not bother others...
but there's so many buttons on the right hand side of the phone
and the volume/zoom rocker is fiddly to adjust [but I do have big
fingers!] Also forgot how annoying the Walkman player can be when
playing a mixed album [ie dance compilations] - there's a slight
2-second gap between tracks. If there's a way to fix that, I'd be
happy to hear of any suggestions! Also, don't know about anyone
else but the mini-speakers included in the box don't seem to be
able to support the weight of the phone - I can't get them to stand
up unless leaning against something! Overall though, I'm happy with
the phone itself, still not ready to embrace the touch-screen revolution
just yet (had to send Samsung i8910 back after a week's worth of
use!) and I'd definitely recommend the W995 to anyone in the same
boat. Rating:

2 weeks in and so far I'm very happy with this fantastic phone.
The build quality feels much better than other sony phones Ive looked
at, and it looks a bit like the early bat mobile from one side :)
The images from the camera are excellent quality (probably the best
Ive seen from a mobile yet) with plenty options for tweaking images
and making quick edits within the phone. The video quality is not
too bad either, even in fairly low light with the help of the built
in light, great for recording at gigs, or in clubs or capturing
things moving fast. The sound clarity is pretty clear when making
calls, and it's pretty quick and easy to navigate aroud the menus.
Only grumble is I'm having slight connection problem viewing from
BBC i player and downloading games but I'm sure I'll figure it out.
but as far as the build quality and usability of the phone goes
it's a work horse and I think it will still be doing it's thing
in 2 years time, while the plasticy touch screen phones become a
scratched/fingerprinted mess after 6 months. Finally sony have built
in a mini jack too, which means you can put a line out from the
phone right into a mixer or a stero at parties if the decks go down
:) All in all - a beast of a phone! Rating:

I had a k800i for years, which I loved for its simplicity and reliability
and lack of gimmicks yet still begin very powerful and wanted to
upgrade to something similar. I had my eye on the c905 but was wary
of the bad reviews and so upgraded to the W995 - I am extremely
impressed and would recommend anyone in a similar situation to buy
this phone Postives -Slide operation means I no longer take pictures
of the inside of my pocket, or surf the internet accidently, feels
nicely balanced when the keypad is open and not top heavy -The toggle
switch from k800i is replaced by circular buttons and far easier
to navigate -Call button reassuringly hard to press by accident
-GPS / google street view etc is incredible -WiFI worked quickly
and easily -UI and menu options are similar so no having to refind
and relearn everything -Feels like the phone of old, with just new
better bits added -Ability to cut and paste text is useful -Using
flash as a light is great -Apart from the battery companent and
stand, feels robust and solid -Accelerator useful for switching
portrait to landscape only, the games that use it, seems a bit awkward.
-Sound, battery length, screen all impressive -3.5mm headphone slot
is great, I can use my own earphones now -Music player is great,
I dont use the flashy bits but they are there if you want them.
-Software seems very robust, no crashes or stange affects (as yet)
-Cheap, I got it free with a good contract £25, with lots of minutes
etc and unlimited web. Negatives -There are lots of buttons on the
main face, I had some cOnfusion between what does what eg. back/cancel/hangup
buttons -Numeric keys slightly too small with minimal feedback,
espcially the bottom row (* 0 #) as the slightly raised trim at
the bottom of the phone gets pressed instead of the keys -Zoom buttons
very small fiddly. -Clock doesnt seem to appear when phone locked
-BBC iPlayer disappointingly doesnt seem to work, I'm sure I can
tweak it. -Stil suffers from slight response delay when navigating
menus, or saving pictures Overall - if like me, you are upgrading
from a k800i and want something that retains simple and basic functionality,
yet still contains all the bells and whistles and advanced stuff
like gps, wifi etc should you want it, then this is a great phone.

as it's gorgeous!! brilliant camera, easy to use wifi, easy to use
menu system. the texting just seems so easy to use, the buttons
respond very quickly and are so easy to push, and idealy placed.
good sized, smaller than the nokia n95 but a tad bigger than the
nokia 6500,(and miles better) defo worth the full 5 stars. the only
thing I wish they'd done, which in my eyes would have made it the
perfect forever phone, is to have made the back out of the same
rubbery type material that the w595 had, as it's sort of the same
brushed metal material that the nokia 6500 had, and I fear will
get easily scratched?(so am keeping it in a mobi sock) and also,
I wish they'd put that rubber strip along the bottom of the screen
like on the w595 as that made it easier to slide up and down (not
that it's difficult, the slide is perfect) But these would have
been just little extra pluses, and even without them, the phone
is genius. Although it has the same menu system as the w595 it is
faster, bigger screen so bigger writting, more colourfull, more
memory and far superior sound and pictures, basically the next step
up. I also love it has a torch light too, and a clip on the back
(it's a stand I think but it could be used as a clip for anything)
I'm so loveing the red colour, and I love that when you go into
inbox, you hve a choice to also view the texts as conversations
so you dont have to keep switching from inbox to sent box! I cant
find any reason to want or need any other phone! so glad I got the

just to tell you people: you can plug in 2 headphones (one in the
3.5 mm jack and one int he se one and play music on both and you
can do track id without using your service providers internet and
instead you can use wifi - so it wont cost you i just took a picture
with the 8 mp camera and its amazing, so is the video, i shouldnt
be saying all this cos this is a walkman, but its amazing how many
features it has its keyboard is very good, its spaced out all the
buttons are well built - the phone has a very good feel screen is
awesome i was just watching bbc1 live on bbc i player - amazing
and it was on wifi the head phones are amazing and so is the walkman
it came with a snap on speaker which doesnt even need a battry,
which is awesome its pretty loud. i got this phone free with a £20
contract with 600 min and unlimted texts on o2 from dialaphone.com
which have the best deals. i havent even checked all the feautres
out yet my music is being transferred through the media go which
is good - it took me a bit of time to transfer the music...i guess
you just have to get used to it i could say a million more things
but i just wanna play with it now lol i seriously recommend this
phone, dont buy the iphone its too expensive GET THIS PHONE NOW!!!

Still finding my way around this great phone. I've had a lot of
phones in my time and I believe that I have finally have the perfect
phone. The package of 8.2 megapixel camera, fabulous audio sound,
Navigation etc etc. It's got a beautiful smooth slide, crystal clear
graphics and the buttons are very easy to use, over the moon!!! Rating:

Still getting used to the phone - as previously said, great phone
lots of features etc. Issues found so far are, bluetooth must be
on to pair with a device. It does not automatically switch on when
it is in range with a known device e.g. car hands free kit. To save
battery, I have bluetooth off, but I have to switch it on manually
each time get in the car to pair it with my handsfree kit or suffer
poor battery life. My old V3 used to detect a known device and switch
on or off when in range. Phone is poorly weighted. It's too small
to hold comfortably when closed and top heavy when open. Shake control
- what a waste of time. You have to press a button while shaking
the phone to change tracks or adjust volume. The hard buttons to
do the same are on the other side of the phone. Finally the phone
slider is difficult to push open from the bottom because the top
is so thin. You end up pressing against the screen to open the phone
and that leaves smudges. Rating:

Finally upgraded from my old w850i, its all about the music for
me, and this is THE ULTIMATE MUSIC PHONE. Cant stop looking at it
either, big, sharp screen which looks good in all conditions, nice
camera, free MSN, dedicated youtube, yell.com, BBC iplayer, Sky
channels...and the original sega megadrive version of sonic the
hedgehog!! But above all else as I mentioned, its all about the
music, and this phone sounds incredible. Have to disagree with Ryan
about the clip-on speakers, they're far to tinny and distort at
top volume, but through my other sony ericsson speakers I got free
with the w850 it sounds fantastic-better than my hi-fi at home!
You want a sexy looking, top-notch music phone with a good camera?
then get this!! Oh, and its got a 3.5mm jack port!! Rating:

This phone is amazing!! It has in-built Wayfinder sat nav with voice
guidance, a really good 8 megapixel camera and I got 60 free video
downloads which are fantastic quality. The screen is large and clear
and the music playback is loud. The speakers in the box are my only
critisizm, when on the loudest setting, they sound awfull!!!! Great
phone though Rating:

I recently upgraded from a SE w810i which was and still is an amazing
phone and i have put it through alot! I got my SE w995 today from
a carphonewarehouse shop, i havnt played with it alot so can only
give a breif view of it. Buttons - They are nicely spaced out and
there is enough room between the screen of the phone and the keypad
for larger fingers when typing, some reviews have complained about
them and i can only really compare them to my w810i which was very
good for tactile response, i would say that they do not give the
same levels of satisfacation tactile wise compared to the w810i
but definatly arn't a problem over all. The aesthitics of this phone
are really amazing and it is a very beautiful design, i remeber
seeing it around febuary and knowing instantly that i would have
it. I have the black version which imo is much sleeker and sexier
looking then the silver version, still nice anyway would have prefered
for the black version to have been black and silver rather then
black and silver but maybe i am wanting too much hehe :P Screenwise
this is also beautiful and looks very crisp, perfect for watching
video clips anyway. The camera also produces from my experiences
good pictures, good enough to uplaod to facebook for example which
is what i wanted, havnt had a chance to test out taking photos at
a party tho so not sure how it would handle in low light conditions.
I'l try and post later on after a few weeks to give information
on battery and generally how it is to live with. Dan Rating:

In response to my earlier salivating message I have now received
the w995..........AND IT BLOWS YOU AWAY. The sound outta this mobile
is immense either just ringing on an Mp3 ringtone which is proper
loud just a shade quieter than the deafening nokia N81 i think it
was , the supplied clip on speakers are excellent for chilling out
too and the sound again is fantastic and the earphones especially
combined with the upgraded 4.0 walkman software is out of this world.
The keypad has had some mixed reviews i see on other websites but
i think the keys are great really well spaced and the feedback response
is fine and actually feels quite well built n soft my only gripe
on mine is the CALL SEND button seems stiffer than the CALL REJECT
to press. The camera is ace , the flash is good albeit non xenon
, the slide mechanism is very well put together and the screen large
and clear n crisp. I have only played with it for an hour but it
was well worth the £374.99 i paid sim free and apparantly their
is a load of new software to test out so im off to play with it...oh
and the handset feels great in the hand like a little chunkier w910i
i just hope this w995 dont do the usual crash and fail to show images
as per usual Sony Ericssons....we shall see but altogether im chuffed
to bits with it. Rating:

Pre-Ordered mine off Play.com i have been waiting for this mobile
for so long now , its the combo of a top camera with a top walkman
that swings it for me in a design slimmer than the bulky creaky
loose and awkward c905 , im praying it does whats expected of it
and the dual speakers really are as loud as expected my only gripe
is the date for release keep getting put back now set for the 5th
June from the 3rd from earlier in may. The anticipation is worth
a 5 star as i have sold my iphone 3g and w902 to allow my pocket
freedom for this bad boy. [Editor's comment: Not really a review,
