In a nutshell: The C1-01
is Nokia's entry-level offering, and is very much an old-style phone.
If you want an old-fashioned mobile that makes calls, sends texts,
plays music via MP3 or FM radio and has great battery life, you'll
find it here. You won't find anything more than that, but it is
very cheap.

In the past I’ve owned phones that cost ten times more than the
cheap little Nokia C1 and they all broke.
Ok the C1’s camera is rubbish and the internet is really slow
but for making calls and texting and value for money it’s an excellent
phone.

The Nokia C1-01 is by no means the cheapest phone on the market. I bought
it because I wanted a simple phone. I took it back because the camera
was useless! It may be VGA but the lens is rubbish, or it was totally
out of adjustment. There should be a no-star rating for this review.

Good phone a bit slow but has good mp3 player 3.5mm headphone and battery
lasts 3-4 days with heavy use. Would recommend.

Good enough phone, no frills, but thats how i like it. seems slow for
texting but for me it doesn't actually miss any letters, it just fails
to show them for a second! i prefer the nokia 2330 but with no memory
card it makes media seem pointless. Maybe other more suitable models
out there for marginally higher price

This is basic. Who on earth would think it would do YouTube - pathetic.
It does calls tho the speaker ain't so good but better on the headphones!
FM radio is ok, strangely it takes a 32gb SD card - tho' don't play
'folders only'. Its just a phone - end of.

I love it.A good basic phone for making calls and texting.It does what
it says on the box with the advantage of radio, camera, video, I don't
use the games so I cant comment on that.

This phone was my very first and i found it did everything that you
would expect it to. The camera was not very good which was a shame but
it worked. It came with three games: Block'd, Glamour pinball and Sudoku.
The Sudoku was fun but the other's not really. It is a good phone though
and would recommend it to people starting out in the world of phones.

I've got one as a day-to-day work phone (also have a smart phone, which
I don't take to building sites) - I love it. good basic phone for making
calls and texting. Always seems to have a good enough signal (again
good enough for calls etc where the smart phone often struggles)battery
life is excellent. Haven't experienced any bugs, and is quite robust
(have dropped it once r twice, no problem.) For all those who moan about
the camera quality etc, a) what do you expect for £30 odd quid, and
b)it's a phone! It's main purpose is to communicate with other people,
not watch youtube!

The phone is not good because file can easily delete itself on the phone.and
it easily contact viruses and the theme for the phone is different

I got this phone to tide me over till i was due a upgrade, its a very
basic and simlpe cheap phone that does what you need ie calls,textsand
some internet. the only let down is the camera if it was even a 1.3
mp it would of been a excellant phone

Best mobile in poor people and very slim& stylish mobile. Costwise best
with compare to other mobile. My opinion is best mobile.

I had to replace my 12 year old Nokia 3310 because it was not possible
to buy a new battery any more. The Nokia c101 was an excellent replacement.
I think it is more than a basic phone and the feel of it is robust with
an easy viewable colour screen even in the harsh African sun light.
I have an ADSL internet connection at home so only need the phone to
make and receive calls and send simple text messages. The MMS feature
will be nice though. I was surprised at the clear sound of the FM radio,
although not true hi-fi standards, but more than good enough for a phone.
The user manual is lacking in detail, but I suppose adequate for basic
settings. My only other gripe is that it does not have templates, but
I found a work around for it. In summary a nice, robust and easy phone
to use for its price, good value.

I had the phone free on a contract and was going to continue using my
old HTC Blackstone but that shortly died and I've had to use the Nokia.
It is possible to use the internet on it but it isn't that great. Navigating
BBC football is a nightmare (I just don't bother) however facebook is
manageable. However, it does suffer from hanging quite a bit, such as
on facebook or sometimes when texting. Very annoying when half way through
texting. I can cope having a basic phone but I can't deal with this
hanging and lagging. Unforgivable given it isn't asked to do a lot.
Speaker and voice quality is OK but sometimes when it rings it crackles.
This lagging sometimes also effects when trying to hang up. Battery
life is good, much better than my old smart phone (I guess that is expected
though) with the battery lasting 3-4 days without a re-charge. I wouldn't
recommend buying this phone as an upgrade to anything. I much rather
have an old skool 8210!! Waiting for the first cashback cheque before
getting something a bit better!

this phone is not that good. although I've managed to make downloaded
themes work. it's performance is crappy at times. I've been using the
phone for a year now and I'm planning to buy iphone. gotta get off of
this phone soon! :D

This is literally the worst phone I've ever handled.My friends keep
asking if it's an original Nokia phone (it is) & that just shows how
low quality it is.Screen keeps going blank, the phone is insanely slow,
the internal memory is just too small.Bad job on this one Nokia.

I have had this phone for three months and I love it, so easy to use,
call quality is excellant, memory card dose not slow it down I installed
16gb all is well, the vga camera has taken some quite satisfactory pictures
for me. The music player sounds good and is very easy to use, all in
all it dose everything I want from a phone and more

So so phone not for online uses and when we enter memory card the phone
are slow working...and dis phn not for 32gb i know its supports but
phn is not working properly..seriously...

Absolute rubbish. Received mine as a contract upgrade two months ago
(it patently isn't an upgrade on my old 6303). The memory is pitiful
(I keep having to delete texts as the inbox is full, despite there only
being half a dozen stored messages), it deletes all messages if it is
switched off, screen keeps going blank and freezing... Really not happy
with it at all.

Speaker is junk, Its like Im talking in a can. After 4 visits to the
dealer he told me that it is normal and its my trouble. After 5 nokias
in 11 years (I abuse them)and nothing but happiness with nokia, Im going
to buy some other brand.

Very nice phone, I am very old so need a phone that is easy to use,
texting is easy, sound is good, the calculator function is good for
working out gas bills ect, I vish the screen vas bigger though.

Great phone for a beginner, can be a little confusing for an 81 year
old first timer. Takes a photo without too much trouble, sends text
messages but I'm not a good thumb waggler so can't go too fast. If I
want a serious photo I'll use my digital camera but as I only want it
to contact my mates (to see if the beer is up to scratch and receive
messages) and perhaps use it in an emergency it does everything I want.
Main use of any phone by me will be via land-line but this will keep
me in touch with friends and family. Good value and easy to use

Nokia C1-01 is one of the greatest phone in its category. It has VGA
camera, an FM radio, plays MP3, and superb battery performance. The
one thing that sets this phone apart from its class is that is capable
of supporting up to 32G microSD. No other phone in its class offers
this ability. This is the perfect phone for people who just want one
that serves their messaging and calling needs.

the phone worked well for the first 2 months then came the problem of
hanging and the screen would jst go blank when making a phone call browsing

First impressions are: nice and light. Good tangible keypad, even though
it's flat. Radio needs a headphone lead connected to work. Screen is
quite poor quality and needs angling to the left to see it correctly
as the viewing angle is very specific. Earpiece is redundant as sound
escapes from 'speakerphone' slot on back of phone - a weird setup.

nokia ci-01 is an gud handset those people thave buyied it have done
a gud job some Advantages are:- light weight, lont battery life , 32
gb expandable momery, amd much more didadvantages are :- hanging problem,
low processing speed , brighrness of the screen will be not adjusted.....etc

a good value mobile that does the job . only downside is the camera

I am satisfied from nokia C1-01. It has many impressive features like
light weight, long battery life, 32GB expandable mamory, Fm recording,
Data backup, but i hate it because can't apply downloaded themes.

A good lightweight no nonsense phone with great battery life. But the
screen is too bright and the brightness does not adjust. I have ordered
a tinted screen protector for GBP 2.00 - hopefully this will work.

Great is this, had it for two weeks, no problems just now. Calls are
clear, opera works well, just need tae get the settings right. I have
downloaded lots of themes and games which is great just now. Is it possible
to get you tube on it by the way?

Nice phone, It dose the basics very well, calls are super clear. A great
phone for the 'phones these days are to complicated brigade' of which
