In a nutshell: The 6300i is an enhanced version of the now classic 6300 phone. This is an elegant slimline phone with excellent ease of use. The enhancement over the normal 6300 is WLAN connectivity, which enables you to make free VoIP phone calls and data connections over a WLAN network at home or work, or out and about at a WiFi "hotspot". The phone also features a 2 megapixel camera, MP3 player, memory expandable to 4 Gbytes and Bluetooth. Battery life is still poor, just like the original 6300, and will be worse if you use WLAN extensively.

The Nokia 6300i is essentially the same as the classic 6300, except that it has WLAN connectivity and support for making VoIP calls. The 6300i also comes with a bundled 512 Mbyte microSD card, with the Nokia Maps application pre-loaded. The Opera Mini web browser is also installed on the phone.
