The Nokia 6070 is a very basic
camera phone. The design of the 6070 is simple, with a good sized
square keypad and not too much to go wrong. It looks like a brick,
but a very small and lightweight brick!
Feature-wise, the 6070 doesn't
give you much for your money. There's a camera and video camera,
but these are really only toys. The display is also rather poor
and hard to read in bright light. Although the phone supports MP3
ringtones, there's no MP3 player, however there is a stereo FM radio.
The ringtones are rather poor quality too - don't expect too much
just because they're MP3 format. Memory is very small - just 3.2
Mbytes of user memory, so you won't be able to store many pictures
or videos. There are better entry-level camera phones than this:
consider the Sony Ericsson K310i
or the Motorola L6 instead. The 6070
has now been upgraded to the Nokia 6080.

My 6070 was bought new in 2007 and is still in service in 2012. It has
been reliable despite being used daily for years. It just won't die.

I got this for my 7 year old son, mostly so i could contact him. It
broke 5 years later (In 2010/11 Winter) when he slipped on some ice
and his phone was in his back pocket of his jeans so it smashed. He
slipped into a puddle aswell... BUT, yep you guessed it, it still works.
Its a hardy phone, but a rubbish one at that. It's a waste of £39.99.
I should of waited a year and got him a iPhone 1. I can't even get O2
recycle it it so out of date.

It cost £39.99! Its fantastic for the price. Ok the camera isn't great
but it's not bad. Ringtones sound fine to me and the phone looks good,
good signal and reasonable features...what else could you want for the
price! A good value basic phone!

camera is extremely bad... slow interface.. cann't connect with PC using
infrared connection, (Nokia PC Suite) not recognises phone. you cann't
listen FM radio using speaker unless ear-piece is pluged!!!

If you want a digital camera, buy a digital camera. This phone has excellent
signal reception, superb battery life and is very easy to use. Thats
all i need in a phone. It rings and texts, job done.

I really am unhappy with this phone.. It has a really annoying bug -
often when a text meassage comes through, the phone will turn itself
off and then on again and the message will have vanished. And the lack
of memory is seriously off putting, along with the general slowness
of the phone. Pity, cos it looks so nice..

this is a good basic phone. good for kids id say. not full of features
but good for txtin. nokia are always easy to use and this is no different.
vga is fairly decent for the odd pic and extras such as fm radio give
it value. its small lightweight and looks nice so fits in your pocket
well. unfortunatly very limited memory on it and it sometimes appears
a little slow. but it is on the whole a reliable phone. nokias tend
to be. and it is cheap. great if your a parent and want to buy ur daughter
a little handset lol

I have decided to buy it for my 7-year old daughter. Though the memory
space is low, my daughter enjoyed taking snaps and video clips. I have
installed some cool themes and games to maximize her enjoyment, considering
its very reasonable price.

this phone perfectly suits ordinary people and it well desined to "kill."
it has the looks and nice presentation on the screen. it's light and
easy to carry along thou it doesn't have alot of functions it does it
best in bringing a new mode of nokia to lots of people.

i don`t have this handset at present, but i was thinking of buying one
until i looked at the features and saw little memory space 3.2 mbytes
come on i`m a teenager i wants tons of mP3 rintones on my handset to
show off. not to mention NO Bluetooth connectivity, no teenagers fancy
infrafed as before. the other features sounds pretty much passable.
it`s a cool handset, but i prefer a more cool phone.

is a good mobile phone. though memory is low. it performs perfectly
ok , atleast for the past 30days i have acquired. the game part is superb
especiallly the "canal control" . thank you nokia for this innovation

I am using this set for the last 4 months and till now i have not faced
a single problem. It do perfectly for what it is made for. I admit that
the camera is prro quality and memory is low but for the price it performs
really nice. I do a lot of calls and messages and my trsuty n6070 has
never let me down becaz it got a very good battery life that is almost
5 days in a single charge. Overall, it does best for which it is made
i.e., calling and text, if someone want large memory or camera gimmicks
than they can opt for highly priced phones.

I think the camera of this phone is not bad actually co'z i tried to
take a pic from my nokia 6070 and send it to my N73ME.. it looks good...maybe

Have problems with the speaker - caller sounds very tinny and echoey.
Even after going back to Nokia problem still apparent. Camera clarity
not good very fuzzy. Ring tones could be more upto date.

Maybe so with some of the comments - HOEVER if you take price in consideration
it is a good phone- AND THE SOUND QUALITY IS BETTER THEN MOST OTHERS-
sony-ercsson JUNK Low end phone are nothing but problems- they are not
worth the metal they are made of- especially phones like the j200 and
j210 - full of problems and sound quality that is TOTALY UNACCEPTABLE
at any price. the 6070 is a nice phone and paid only about 110 usd in
Hong kong vs one year ago about 100 usd for the j210 that i had to dump-
I bought a used j200 because i had the power adapter, and surprisingly
actually better then the j210, but still voice quality TOTALY Useless.
SHAMEFUL sony products - of over 10 sony products I have the all FAIL
in no time- sony =dont even capitalize the name they suck unless you
by the EXTRAM TOP of the LINE stuff they make.

This phone is just right for me because it's simple yet very useful
(because of its features). The FM radio is also cool-I can listen to
the radio anytime I want! The camera and video is not excellent but
not that bad. One thing I don't like about it is the small internal
memory-wish it can expand its memory. Overall, it is a good phone.

i think its an OK phone. Good enough for daily use, nuthin outstandin.
Suprising it has no USB port while some site on the net said that it
has so that was quite disapointin. There's no bluetooth nor upgradeable
memory. the cam's quite good. photos come out clear, but video clips
last only 16 seconds.

I got this cellphone a month ago, i shifted from Nokia 6630, well i
admit that the display is not that good and neither is the camera, but
functioning of this phone is absolutely out class. Means, it performs
all the basic functions ver perfectly. Battery life is absolutely amazing,
one week without charging. Works perfectly fine wid me.

I love the phone. It has all the features I need, plus the radio that
I do not need. Anyway, the camera is pretty poor, and the extremely
little memory bugs my a lot. But it is totally worth it's price.

Not so good as advertised. NOKIA should tell the truth about the effective
memory available in all its phone. Now-a-days this phone seems to be

This phone is the dog's doodahs. It's basic but it does everything that
I want and does it well - makes phone calls and text messaging easy.
Nice key pad, good volume. Simple but classic design..and Nokia quality
and reliability. I love it.

All together cool. Just bought it 2 days ago and it has been beautiful.
I love the sound and the colour. Only CON is No Bluetooth and Low Memory.
IrDA can suffice for Bluetooth though but low memory sure can be a pain.
I tried receiving some sounds from another phone but the memory has
been a huge limitation. Asides these 2 flaws, 6070 is a WOW!

i received a nokia 6070 as an "upgrade" for my nokia 6230. The nokia
6070 doesn't have a memory card, or bluetooth, it weighs a little less
than the 6230 but physically it's a little bigger, and it uses a narrower
charger than the 2 spare nokia chargers i already have (which is handy
as i keep one at work). therefore i'll be sticking to my 6230.

Pros. nice keypads, screen is slightly bigger than nokia 6230, has a
radio, loud speaker, light, batt last about 3-4 days. Cons. The camera
"SUCKS". This phone has the worse pic and video quality ever.

Bought this phone only a week ago, and by trading in my old nokia phone
it only ended up costing me £40. Im not into taking photographs of everything
I see and do already own a 4GB mp3 player, so even though its just got
a few basic things, it suits my requirements mainly texting and the
occasional phone call. I do like the way it can be used to as an alarm
clock radio to wake you up in the morning, but I do feel that nokia
could of improved themselves by at least giving the hands free kit two
earphones rather than just the one as they did with the 8310, sure beats
listening in mono. On the whole, moneywise its a great phone.

It is a GREAT AND A SUPERB PHONE it has all the features required in
todays world such as a basic camera,radio,an infrared ,mp 3 ringtones
and amr support as well as PTT,sound and video recorder .and the best
part is we can connect it to speakers for a high volume.The memory is
3.2mb only but by using amr type audio ringtones we can save space and
get the stylying effect of playing mp3 ringtones on our mobile.The photos
are of average quality not to bad not to perfect but good if taken in
a high quality mode.It is VALUE FOR MONEY The nokia 6070 rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!IT
IS A GREAT PHONE I RECOMEND IT TO EVERYONE .

Thought it was a good phone. Then after 3 weeks it just wouldn't charge.
Got a replacement it's stopped charging again after one week!!!!!!!
It's not the charger because i've tried several different ones, and
the battery works in another phone!

A simple down to earth phone that doesnt offer anything extra. Unlike
the typical megapixel-cam clones which most companies are churning out
nowadays. The NK 6070 is really a very simple phone (of course , also
meaning its functions are at best mediocre) I'm played with the phone
for 2 weeks and I guess you've to give credit to the fast interface
(yes, it doesn't go lagging on you like the N70, N80 or N90 series),
navigation is a breeze and it does what it sets out to do well. To note
though, the VGA cam does produce really disappointing results (comparing
with other VGA cameras)and only a measly 2.5mb is available for one's
own stuff , NOT the 16mb as advertised by Nokia.

This is the perfect phone. I used to have a Samsung X640, which was
good,but i had problems with it in less than a year so I went back to
the trustworthy nokia.I love the feel of this phone, it is small,yet
sturdy and has no design flaws,unlike the samsung which took photos
when the phone was in my pocket and made irritating noises which you
couldnt turn off.The only downside is the camera quality is poor, but
since I only use it for caller ID anyway, it doesnt matter.I dont think
I will replace this phone till it goes faulty now, and with nokias,
that wont be for a good few years yet,they are most reliable phones
you can buy in my opinion.

At fist i was coparin it with my nokia 6230. It has a very attractive
outlook.but the lack of bluetooth faclity, the low memory capacity,
the ineffectiveness of the infared made me still like my nokia 6230.

may dad bought me this cellphone (6070)... actually this cellphone has
a great fitur but i think the memory is to small..not enough for anything,,,
the connectivity tooo,,,i lil bit desepointed with the infrared...i
think bluetooth is more easier to connect more than infrared,,, but
at last i think 6070 is not too bad

this 6070 nokia phone is not well as a clearity of the camera is very
poor. Ringtone is not loud sounded. Piece is showing very poor look.
Bluetooth is not there, only MP3 ringtones are there but real MP3 is
not in phone. In short phone is very poor.

This phone lacks one thing pretty important, that is the memory built
in! Why Nokia always lacks this 1 important feature? With only 3.3MB,
what can you expect for a camera and video capable phone. Also, the
screen is actually a CSTN and a not a TFT screen. I like Nokia original
features very much and it's design especially this 6070 type of candy
bar but with such limited functions, what can I said. Also no bluetooth
conectivity over here, again!
