The Nokia 3410 was the replacement for the hugely-popular
Nokia 3210/3310/3330 series. Featuring an updated front panel design,
the 3410 is the same size as the older Nokias, but lighter.
The Nokia 3410 has all of the features that made
the 3210/33xx so popular - downloadable ringtones, Xpress-on™
covers and great ease of use. The 3410 features Java games and is
lighter too.
The 3410's Java capability means that you can download
games just as easily as downloading ringtones or graphics.
WAP push allows you to subscribe to information
services like news, sport and entertainment - you will then receive
text messages which contain a link to a WAP page, so you can browse
in more detail if you wish.
The main defect of the 3410 is the joined-up keypad.

this phone was good when it first came out but since then its standard

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE HAD A NOKIA 3410,IT IS THE BEST PHONE
I HAVE EVER HAD.IT IS JUST BOG STANDARD,AND DOES ALL,IT IS DESIGN

This is basic phone makes a call sents a text and has better games
than 3310 had mine 2 years no problems as yet and its got a great
battery life as well. what more do you want it is much better than
that 1100 what a load of rubbish that is

The phone lay out is o.k, but the phone signal is rubbish, colour
screen would have been better, games rubbish. Don't buy this phone!!

I have had my Nokia a little over 7 months. It was fine for a while,
but then the battery started to run out very quickly (I hadn't over-charged
it) and the signal is appalling - I know that this isn't down to
my area as the coverage in my region with T-Mobile is actually rather
good. Several colleagues in my office use T-Mobile and when my signal
is at 1 or nothing their signals are at full-power. I blame it totally
on the phone and feel that buying it on special offer was a big
mistake, it isn't the bargain I thought it was going to be. I don't
want all bells and whistles but I do want a phone that gets a signal
when I leave the house.

My 3410 is 18 months old and well used, it has never let me down
i changed the express on cover to freshen it up a bit as it was
looking a bit rough, it has been droped a few times and even got
submerged in the kitchen sink opps, thought it was surley the end
of the 3410 but after a day of drying on the radeator it is working
fine, it has had a further new cover fitted and a brush with h2o
(anther day on the rad) but is still 100% working order cant say
farer than that i am beggining to think my 3410 is indestructable
or has nine lives like the cat, my friends have had a few phones
while i have had my 3410, there phones seem to go wrong after a
few months while my 3410 soldgers on like the work horse it is,
i like the fact that it has normal ringtones ring ring, nokia tune,
bee, etc i can not hear the new poly tones it sounds like a disco
going off in your pocket i hear so many people saying in phone reviews
they cant hear there phones ring what is the point. anyway 3410
good all round standerd phone long may mine live.

It is fat and needs 2 do more excercise. Da games are blingin.Da
ringtones are pretty lame and so is da composer. Also da internet
dont work. I would recomend this phone to old ladies only.

There is nothing wrong with the Nokia 3410. It does what it was
designed to do. My main complaint is against the people who contribute
to the reviews on this site. Most are illiterate, many cannot spell.

hi. R U being serius this fone is terrible. WAY beyond its time.
(unles u like carryn a brik round with u!) wud have bin gr8 in the
50's :S but it is 21st century. u want somethin like 02 X3 (Y) i
have not got it but it is supposed 2 be a gud fone :)

I just have to say, I've had this phone for over a year and have
encountered no problems at all. It may not be overloaded with features,
but it's done everything I've needed from a phone. A very reliable,
lovely little phone.

i think the nokia's should have the internet wap (chat rooms) in
the phone because every body enjoys goin onto the internet chat
rooms but bought this phone and you cant get chat on the phone's
so can you please make it so the nokia 3410's have got the internet

Nokia 3410 is good if it's your first phone it's simple to use and
has the useawell nokia games like snake etc. But it doesn't have
much to on it and isn,t good if your looking for a phone that doeas
everthing!

Dis woz my 1st mobile, & it iz GR8!! Itz a bit basic, but itz gud
if ur not lukin 4 loadz ov hi-tech stuf. Itz da perfect fone if
u onli wanna txt or talk. Im gunna get a new fone 4 xmas, coz i
want sumfin a bit more advanced (i'll prob get eiva siemans c64
or samsung e600, not sure which 1 yet...), but da nokia 3410 woz
a wel gud fone 2 strt me off. I rekomnd it 2 ne1 lukin 4 their 1st
fone or 4 sumfin cheap, simple but reliable. ^~^

i cant believe people say this phone suks it rules think about it
6 games,wap push,downloadable ringtones and games all i have to
say is that this phone is just class BYE THE WAY I DONT HAVE THIS
PHONE BUT I HAVE BEEN ON ONE it doesnt matter what people think
£34,95p is worth it for this phone anyway i getting it for xmas

It is a good phone, does everything a phone does but i really don't
like the monophonic ringtone sounds and the screen colour is so
boring and dull. Oh well, it doesn't bother me anymore since mine
broke and now i have the excuse to buy a nice flashy Samsung E700
camera and colour screen phone (highly recommended). But anyway,
if there is anyone looking for a basic phone without all the ridiculous
gadgets then the 3410 is for you. If you are like me however and
you highly appeal to these ridiculous gadgets then get a different
phone, Samsung E700 is a good phone for gadgets though.

I have to write again to follow up my review from last year 20th
nov 03, well i have been with my 3410 near on a year now and it
has proved to be a faultless piece of kit unlike my the samsung
t100 i bought and sent back for a refund, i have read some of the
reviews and can honestly say i think some of you have bought the
phone without reading the specifications no you dont get every thing
you get with say the higher spec nokia, sony ericsson, samsungs
etc, you get a mobile phone that does what a phone should do and
does it well, just becouse it does not have a colour screen or poly
ringtones mms camara etc etc etc does not make it a bad phone, most
of the complants on this review site seem to be from peaple that
have faults with there phones when purchassed well i suggest you
take them back to the shop and replace the phone or get your money
back like i did with the t100, my 3410 on the other hand has been
100%, battery life is still great i use the phone nearly everday
and charge it up every sunday if i use it a lot in the week i top
the battery up mid week say thursday, signal strenth is very good
compared to more expensve phones and sometimes a lot better, it
is as strong as a ox i dont throw my phone around but have had the
odd accident as we all do fell out of pocket fell of table at work
when on vibrate and like the day i droped it at waterloo station
and it got kicked accross the platform by me and on coming comuters
when retrived it was scratched and batterd but stayed together and
worked fine (she now has a new shiney black nokia phone cover)it
seems that mobile phones are suited to differnt people like cars
and clothes if you want to be flash and have the latest hand set
the 3410 is not going to satisfy you not at all, but if you want
to be able to keep in touch with family friends etc and write the
odd text message the 3410 is ideal for just that, the ringtones
are crisp and clear and can be herd in nosy enviroments unlike some
of th e poly phones my mates have (why have a mobile phone you cant
hear ringing outside) the menus are easy to navigate around, the
keys are big enough to use the screen is clear to read even in dirrect
sunlight, unlike the colour screens i have seen on other mobiles
(why have a mobile phone that you can not read in daylight) i will
use mine untill it functions no more could be some time i am due
a upgrade in a few months not going to bother there is nothing out
there at the moment that can replace my trusted phone it is like
a reliable old friend i can depend on, to sum up good allround performer
nuts and bolts mobile phone cant recomend enough to the right person,
but if you want flash for your cash stay away from the 3410 or any
aother entery level phone you will be dissapointed but if you want
a mobile phone to call and text on wich is what they are realy for
if you think about it the 3410 does the job.

The 3410 is a phone at the end of the day, i use it to call people
when i am out i use it to text all these functions it does with
no fuss and it does it well, i have had the phone for 18 months
and it is allways on me l would say i am a moderate user and find
it easy a quick to use, i have had a so could flashy phone that
i upgraded to but swaped back to my 3410 after a month becouse i
could not cope with the new phone being fidily and complecated and
unreliable all i want to do is call and send text messages quickly
and simply and the 3410 does this, the phone is reliable battery
life is still good and signal strenth is better than most more expensive
mobiles, i can not fault the 3410 if you just want a mobile phone
that will keep you in touch with family and friends when out, this
is the one to choose i think it is still available to bye on the
internet but i have not seen it in the shops for a while, in the
time i have had my 3410 it has given me no problems at all 100%
r eliable unlike my upgrade that broke after i sent my first text
message, all i have had to do with my 3410 is replace the cover
(and that is becouse i liked the look of the black and white cover
from nokia)if you want to play games take pics send e-mails or what
ever else you want to do then no it is not a good phone for the
indervidual but this does not make it a bad phone like some of the
comments on the review site, but if you want a device to use to
ring home when you are late or use in a emergency or even a quick
chat with a mate it is ideal, a mate of mine has a what i call a
flashy phone and i have lost count the amount of times he has used
mine to call the misses becouse his phone had no signal (we are
on the same network and in the same area) or droped a call or battery
has died the 3410 is allways there and allways working, so allround
a top mobile phone.

I think that it is a good phone but why did'nt Nokia launch this
phone a bit earlier....... A year later camera phones came out adn
a majority would prefer them-would'nt they... It basically works
the same as a 3310 I dont see why they should launch one the same.

Well what can i say about his phone what a work horse it is turning
out to be, i have just dug it out of the bed side draw to use it
again after a horrifing 14 months with a sony ericsson t610, i bought
my 3410 and this phone has been replaced by other flashy phones
samsung t100 sony ericsson t610 etc all on upgrades but i allways
go back to the 3410 i have lernt my leason the 3410 has never let
me down, it has a superb batery life exellent signal strenth and
is vertulay indestructable it is all a mobile phone should be highley
recomended.

its a standard nokia. better than the 3310 and 3330. it still lacks
some stuff. e.g. color screen , camera , and poly ringtones. it
has none of these. if u want a phone just for talkin and txtin then
this will be ok. if u have the money buy a camera phone. 6230. if
you can afford it. if not 7250 or 3200. they are cheap now.

i think that the 3410 is good my friend got the phone it was exclellant
good games it has java,wap and stuff it is the best phone i have
ever been one BUT ONE THING ONCE MY FIREND WAS ON IT THEN HE DROPED
IT THEN THE SCREEN GOT A CUT DOWN THE MIDDLE IT WOULD BE AMAZING

I have had this phone for just over a year. There is nothing special
about it, I mean it does what a phone needs to do, but that is all.
I am now looking to upgrade to the Sharp GX15. Overall the Nokia
3400 does whatit has to, but it is so out of date now. P.S. On my
phone: the down application is missing! (On the menu screen, i goes
1,2,3,4,6,7,8,9) The whole downloading application is missing!!
If any one knows any thing, please let me know, on this site!!

I think this phone is fab. I've had mone for 2 years and am still
entertained with it. It's like 'Ronseal= it does exactly what it
says on the tin.' it's the no frill phone which suets me fine and
using it's a pleasure. the key pad is easy to use; it's not so small
that your fingers creep onto each button, it's robust and has surrvived
falling dawn the stars twice, the tumbledrier, water spilages and
much more. Ontop of all of that it's got enough to keep you interested
with the fantastic verity of games and ringtones avadible. no it's
not amazing compared to other phones today but it's great and i
would recommend it 100%.

my keys kept sticking and i had to press it about 6 times to get
it to work. it is ok for a short term phone but not to have for

After breaking my 3310, I decided to go a step further and buy the
3410. After all it looked attractive and it had some good reviews.
After getting it home, it looked nice and it was very pleasent to
feel. However, the keys lit up like some cheap plastic things. I
expected quality keys like the 32/3310 phones. Also, the menus are
quite complicated and you have to go through about 3 screens just
to a game. The ringtones are good, but they're also hard to get
too. And if you're a Snake 2 lover, stay well away. It goes nowhere
near as fast as other Snake versions and it takes ages to finish.
There's also no blip sound as it eats the food. I also dislike the
keys, which look as if they've been melted into each other. I didn't
think I would mind them to begin with, but when I'm alone with it,
I just think "you're so ugly!". I can't take any pride in having
it and I miss my 3310. As you flip through the phone's menu, it's
as if it goes in a slower motion to previous Nokias. It's we ird
and hard to describe. The phone looks deceivingly expensive, but
in reality, it's like a cheap toy.

Why are some people moaning about this phone? Its a no-frills phone
as someone said. Its not made to impress its made to make and receive
calls and texts. I had this fone for about 6 months before I go
my 8310. I still have my old 3210 aswell as a spare which I also
thinki is a great fone. Games? I have a ps2. Pictures? I have a
digital camera for my PC. People want fones to fo everything these
days. Why? A phone is for talking on. By the way im 22 not 67 in
case i sound it lol.

I've had this phone for over 2 years now and what can I say - brilliant!!!
I've had no problems what so ever in all the time I've had it. The
battery life is amazing - I can leave it off charge for about 3
- 4 days still using it frequently! It's simple and easy to use
and I would reccommend it to any one that just needs it for getting
in touch with people. The games also keep you entertained!

The nokia 3410 is a good phone to start with. The picture editor
is good to make up a picture , nearly the same as the 3310. you

The 3410 is a great, albeit basic, phone. It does all I want it
to do, namely make voice calls and send and receive texts. If I
wanted to take pictures I would buy a Nikon SLR. If I wanted to
play games I would buy a Gameboy. The 3310 was a wonderful workhorse.
The 3410 is just a tweaked 3310 with WAP. But WAP is pants and actually
I don't know why Nokia bothered to mess with the 3310. It was fine
phone and should have been left alone.

I've had this phone for about a year, about there isn't anything
particualy special about it. It's a basic phone. If you're not bothered
about looks, and want a simple phone for contacting people, I would
reccomend this phone. If you are bothered about looks and extras,
don't buy it or you'll get bored and it'll be a waste of money.

What a great phone! If you're after a basic handset to call people
or text then this is a cheap, robust phone. If, like me, you're
a bit deaf, then the volume for ringing and incoming voice is excellent
and the vibration very strong. The battery only needs charged about
once a week. The signal reception is very good. For what you pay,
these phones are brilliant.

This phones the real deal apart from the 0 key you have to press
really hard to get it working and the games are a bit lame but there
has been no problems with the signal and txting is brilliant but
without those 2 problems rock solid all-round phone man.

THIS IS THE WORST PHONE ON THE MARKET TO DATE. take you sagem myv
65 it has a camera 4x zoom voice recorder which can be usd as ringtones,
and this phone does nothing apart from phone text and play 5 rubbish
games........ VERY DISSAPOINTED.

I'm amazed at stupid things people have said about this phone on
this website. This is how it works. The Nokia 3410 is a cheap no
frills phone, therefore don't expect great things of it. I bought
this phone for my wife who *SHOCK HORROR* only wants to make calls
and send the odd text message. Now if your wanting this phone to
send emails, recieve MMS, make the coffee and feed the dog, pay
a bit more money and get a Nokia 7250i or maybe a shiny N-Gauge
- but if your after a basic reliable phone that you only use for
making calls and sending text, this phone fits the bill perfectly.

I THINK THIS PHONE IS SO RUBBISH! ITS PATHETIC AND REALLY BIG, AND
THE SCREEN BRAKES EASILY!(but then again i surpose dropping it on
the floor dosent really help)BUT ANYWAY ITS A EMBRACMENT! i no this
is kinda harsh but its what i fell! im just very high opioniated!

I can't believe people can slag this fone off!! ppl af different
opinions u no!!!!! I really find this fone easy 2 use. Though, i
wouldn't buy it if you wanted a nice lukin fone as this is a bit
of a brick! it is easy 2 use the textin and the games are great.
the only fing i find annoyin is how meny txts u can save only 5!!!
This is disappointin. I would still recommend this though only 4
ppl who have a fone 4 txting and in emergency otherwise, itz a no
no.

I've had my phone fron new for about 3 months and I found it average
it is all right if it is the first phone you have had or if you
do not use it very much the three good points about it are 1) The
battery lasts donkeys years 2) easy to text on 3) it is better than
the 3310 and 3330 Overall i think it is average but much prefer
my 8310

from the very first time i used this fone i was really disapointed
to say the least. one of very many problems were the sticky keys
that would never come back up, so i ended up having to take a match
with me incase i needed to press the 6,1,8 buttons. The fone looks
really cheap and plastic. so if you are thinking of buying this
fone DONT YOU WILL HATE IT. and if you have this fone GET ANOTHER
ONE.

this is cr@p it doestn't even have polyphonic ringtones . it juts
like 3310 which i had before the 3410 and it is very basic and dissapointing.
this fone is for losers . if u want 2 look kwl go out and buy and
decent phone like da samsung v200 or the motorolla v600 .DO NOT
BUY THIS PHONE U WILL Be DISSAPOINTed ok

My phone is actually a company phone but its a lot better than my
previous,its light in weight, battery lasts a bit longer,and you
can see the keys better because of the brightness of the built in
light.Got to say that i found the munkiki game absolutely addictive,im
on level 29 which is giving me grief at the moment.A couple of levels
are exceptionally slow and i found in level 10 that it said collect
2 coins or the key!!!There is no key to be found?A little help somebody.

this fone is good ive had it for 4 month now but im board of it
now because it doesnt have color for great games or wap. it doesnt
have a camra or anythin special nor polyphonic tones but i love
the design and the color and it has a great selection of covers
so if you wer just about ot get a cheap phone so u dont lose ur
expensive 12 then buy this its gret but cheap

I do like my phone but i had a lot of trouble with Munkiki (found
in games, more games) the best web page to go on for help with this

got stuck on level 19 so if any one wants to know how to do it,
make sure you are at the starts of the level then press the following

Ok so it doesn't have all the latest mobile features but wot is
a phone for. This mobile makes phone calls, sends,receives and stores
txt messages and it even has wap services. This is a good phone
and doesn't have any promblems. Wot a surprise its a Nokia model.
Why spend loads of money on phones like panasonic GD87, Samsung
V200, Sharp GX10i when they all have loads of faults. I say just
stick to the basic phones and definitely nokia ones. The nokia 3510i
is excellent by the way with a colour screen and for a little more
you could purchase the nokia 3200 which has an intergrated camera
and you can design your own covers. Thanks x

This is the worst phone I have ever had. The battery life is very
poor. After about two months the send button stopped functioning.
You almost had to stand on it to send or answer calls. The phone
will not answer with any other botton. I want to stick with nokia
but I don't know which one to get next.

The Nokia 3410 has given everything i've ever wanted in a phone.
It's a smart gadget which is extremely fast,easy and does those
basic jobs of a mobile. I've never encounted any problems and with
its WAP enabled connection you can download from Java Games to animated
screensavers from a click of a button. NOKIA 3410 ROCKZ !

i reccomend this phone to anyone who only wants a phone to text
people and phone people on. I got mine christmas 2002 and i have
had no problems with it and the java games are a lot of fun but
they cost money to download (i like ice blade penquin) the games
already on the phone are ok but quite boring. The nokia 3310 is
rubbis because my sister has one and is always having problems with
it also the 3410 is more comfortable to hold than the 3310 and its
display is better quality and a higher resolution. I now have an
ngage and it rules but if you want a good cheap phone go for the
3410.

Whe i first bought this phone i thought WOWWWWW.Then a couple of
weeks after it got very bad and so i wanted to move on to another
phone.It got so bad that i never used my phone and virgin cut mee

ALL my friend have this phone, and to be honest its a bit old. But
it still does the job, although my bf's '3' key no longer works.
They are simple, if a bit 'bricky'. The best nokia out there is
def my fone - the 6610. Don't but the 3410, buy the 6610. It doesn't
have a camera, so that sucks. But because my friends are stuck in
the past with their 3410's, who am I supposed to picture-message,
eh? And totally off topic, but I got another pony today!!! Whisper,
my wee first ever pony is going to my wee sis, and I'm getting Shanna!!!!!

I've had my 3410 for quite q while now, and its a great phone, BUT
if you ever think you're a smaty pants and change your security
code, WRITE IT DOWN. I changed my security code an dcould not remember
what i changed it to, and now its still off and somewhere in the
house. Remember write it down!

I say that this phone is great!! Not only is it small but not too
small to lose, it has some great games, ringtones and texting is
really easy! I love my phone, so all i can say is.... go Nokia!!!
it's better than the 3310/3330 series, which is what all my friends

This phone is a brilliant buy and is perfect using to make calls
and send texts. It is not very modern so if you want a modern phone
then this is not the one for you although it is very stylish. I
must say that I have had a few problems playing the game 'Munkiki'
(found in Games, More Games). I can do levels 1 and 2 but when it
comes to level 3 I just simply can't do it. If anyone has any suggestions
to what I should do then please say so. Thank you. Other than that
brilliant phone at outstanding low price. Good buy!

I've had this phone for just over a year. Pros: Reliable, never
broken, robust, simple to use. Cons: Big, clunky, heavy, none of
the latest features, hard to customize. Overall: Buy this phone
if you can't work technology but otherwise get a more up to date
one.

Had the phone for a month, then went back to using my old 3330,
a much better and easier to use phone! Not recommended, it looks
cheap and plasticky, go for the 6100, the size takes a bit of getting
used to, but a very good phone.

My husband has this phone and I use it sometimes - we both like
it. He doesn't like phones with too many features as he finds it
confusing, so the 3410 suits him down to the ground. The reception
quality is excellent, texting is simple and speedy as with all Nokia
phones and it has an excellent battery life. It wouldn't be the
phone for someone who likes all the latest gizmos, but for those
who simply want a phone that works well it is ideal. Personally
I like to have a few more of the latest things so it wouldn't be
my ideal phone, but it is excellent as a basic mobile phone as it's
both reliable and easy to use. It's a nice size too, not too large
or small, suitable for both men and women to use. Maybe it's just
me but I always think it's funny to see a man using a tiny dinky
little phone - looks like he's playing with a toy! :-)

I have had this phone for about a year now and it is a relieable
phone. It has never brock down or crashed. I have had no real problem
with this phone. The only thing wrong with it is after about 1-2
weeks you get borded and won't to get different things for it like
games, tones, logo's. I have buyed games with the phone and am not
really happy with them. But i would say that if you want a phone

I own this phone, and its a total utter low-life! Its keypad is
great for texting, because of the size of the buttons - plenty of
space - and thats about the only good thing on it! the damn phone
if you write text messages over 2, then it starts to write the letters
reeeeeally slow and this is annoying as u have to wait 4 the fone
to catch up with you. the battery life on this fone is so poor,
I've had a 3310, the model down and even that was a better phone.
The game Muniki is so great - and then all of a sudden the game
crashes and then when you load it up again, it doesnt load properly,
it loads level 0 - which causes you to die straight away - resulting
in you not even being able to play the game, this is a let-down.
I sent my 1st nokia 3410 back because of this fault, got a new one
and then this 2nd 3410 did the exact same, so overall i can save
these java games are useless on this, once it crashes, ya games
as good as gone for good! Its very easy to navigate around the phone
- however thats probably because theres not that much to browse
@. Theres hardly anything special on this phone. If you're looking
for a cheap phone, then the 3310 is the phone for you, and its the
model down! trust me the 3410 wasnt worth making, i wish i never
got it. From day 1 i've hated it, and found many faults with it.
Also sometimes fascias dont fit properly on this phone, which is
annoying when the back has a gap in the middle, it causes the fear
that it may fall off - its really weird because with the model down
you dont have this problem, all facias fit perfectly - as they should
do. One good thing you can do with the 3410, which i will give a
thumbs up for, is the fact that you can secure the keypad, so only
you can unlock it with a security code. which is pretty neat if
you dont want people to read your text messages or something.. however,
if you buy this phone... your still CRAZY!! trust me theres better
out there!

This phone is cool, i have never had a problem with it. it has a
large range of ringtones. The only bad thing about it are that you
can only store 5 messages at a time in the inbox. The phone is loud
so you can always hear it. Plus the battery lasts 4 days. THIS PHONE
ROCKS :-)

i've had my phone for about a year and a half and i think its brilliant!
for what i wanted it for, it worked well, good phone memory, messages
(up to 20), easy to use, simple to carry around. all around a very
good phone. however, ive fallen for the O2X1 and i'm gettin it for
christmas, but still, ill always love the 3410.

well, what can I say? I've been using nokia phones while ever I've
had a mobile and I have to say this one is disappointing, for starters,
I'll mention the fact that I'm partially sighted, and the screen
isn't no where near the quality of my beloved 3310 I still use and
love, and some of the keys seem a bit dodgy, you've really gotta
press em hard to get anything, texting works well when you find
out how to use the insert word option to get the text big enough
to read as you type, I don't like t9, but have to have it active
to get the insert word option on the menu, let's say you wrote a
super long text 400 letters or whatever, you press the button to
send the text in the box to the place where you should write them,
and everything freezes for a few seconds, probably because the phone
is processing all the text, it does come back to life but when you're
trying to send an important text like I sometimes do it's not great,
my 3310 never does that, ok it slows down when you're t exting and
do loads of typing in the insert word box, but if you notice the
lack of response you can easily send that text to the input part
and start inserting again to get it back to normal again, the phone,
generally is ok for a simple phone, my mum now has it as I got me
a 6100 which i'll review later on, still playing with that one at
the mo! the 3410 as phones go has one or 2 options I rather like,
it's security keyguard should be a feature of all nokia phones!
it's large digital clock screen saver is a favorite of mine, as
I hate talking watches! they draw attention to blind people and
stuff, and I hate to be different, so I used to use the clock on
my phone. it's large enough to see, and works well for what I needed.
I feel that nokia should have made the screen more like the 3310,
the text seemed bigger on that one so i could read what was happening
when it happened, if you know what I mean, I found that I used to
have to use my magnifier screen to navigate the phone till I became
used to where things were, and I learned the short cuts, I feel
also that the tones menu is in a strange location from what I was
used to before, I can understand that tones are settings and stuff
like that but why didn't they put the composer with the tones like
the 3310? I was looking all over for that one! all in all I was
stuck with it for a whole year on t-mobile, I effectively ditched
it for my 3310 and demoted the silly 3410 to my pay as you go emergency's
only phone! hardly got used for ringing out on unless 3310 was flat,
then all I did was swap battery out of 3310 in to 3410 to charge
it up! yeah, they do fit, even though they're fatter, I then put
the 3410 battery in the 3310, boy, does that make a difference in
the weight department on those babys! I know i refer to the 3310,
simply because it was, and to my mind, still is the best none color
screen phone going, although mine is starting to show it's age,
poor old lass, need a batery for it will b e up and running as pay
as you go phone again in no time at all. All in all, if your partially
sighted and need a decent easy screen, try for a 3310 if you can
get one they're not colour but for most things once you map the
phone in your head the screen isnt required, on the other hand the
3410 is much more difficult to see in those situations where it
needs to be looked at, the text is no way near big enough for my
liking and it just isn't what I'd call partially sighted friendly
apart from, as I said the clock screen saver and keyguard! all I
can say, is, if you like the 3410 phone then that's ok, I don't
knock people who like them, it's just that I don't personally like
them myself.

I've got the Nokia 3410 for about a year now, after my 3310's battery
crashed. at first I was very satisfied with my new phone. but sometimes
when I was sending a message, the phone made BY ITSELF, another
message! it was longer and cost me more money. sometimes when I
recieve a message my phone crashes and I have to take out the battery
to restart it. just 2 weeks ago my phonebook was deleted, there
were only 13 of the 70 phonenumbers left! and all my screensavers
were deleted! just like that! the day before yesterday I discovered
that 5 of my 6 games didn't work anymore, and yesterday crashed
my other game too. but today the 5 games that crashed at first were
now working. the speak-dial doesn't work anymore and I can't get
it working again. It is a nice phone with nice gadgets, but after
just one year, the phone is one big drama.

I have had the 3410 for nearly a year now and its the worst phone
I have bought. The keys stick, sometimes they dont work at all and
the dictionary is c##p, it over-writes words constantly which is
a total nightmare. I wouldnt recommend this phone to anyone, I have
spoken to 3 other people who have the same problems, Im actually
thinking of going back to the 3330/10...the besct phones money can
buy!!

It's a great, reliable, sturdy phone that's never given me ANY trouble
at all. True it hasn't got any fancy features like camera etc but
it does the job of a phone perfectly, with no fuss. It has a FANTASTIC
battery life, is simple as hell to use, and is absolutely perfect
for anyone who just wants a phone that can make phone calls and
send text messages reliably. It's nice to look at too. All in a
all a brilliant little phone :-)

I bought this phone last xmas, to replace my 3310 which i previously
owned for 2 years. I loved it at first, but now much better phones
have been designed, including color and camera features. Now i've
had it almost a year, the phone is showing it's age. My red end
call button seems to freeze and doesn't let me end a call, it turns
itself on and off again, and freezes, causing me to have to take
out the battery to get it working again. Also, when i am writing
a text message using T9, sometimes the cursor moves itself and deletes
random word. Very frustrating. I got to quite a high level on the
"munkiki" java game, and now whenever i try to play it, it will
only let me play on level 0, and the monkey dies everytime, therefore
leaving me unable to play. I would recommend this phone for people
who just want a temporarily placement phone.....i am now choosing
either the Samsung S300, nokia 7250i or 6100 for my new phone!

OK, so I've had this phone for a year now. It's .... OK. I have
to admit I've had no problems with it. It does everything you ask
it to with no major grief. Texting is easy.. and the phone is pretty
sturdy as well. My fave bit of the fone has been the games.. I am
still addicted to snake 2 and munkiki. On the downside...The WAP
is cr#p and well, its dull..its the phone-everyones-got and nobody
cares. Its the Ford Sierra of the phone world. Not bad, but...yawn.
After seeing my mate's Samsung V200 the other day I realised just
how dated the 3410 is now compared to what else is available - so
my V200 is on its way!

This is the first Nokia model that i've owned, and I've been using
it for about 4 months now. I bought it as an emergency replacement
for my Motorola V70, which personally I thought was a thing of beauty
(although menu navigation was poor). On the plus side, the 3410
has a good navigation system - but then I understand that this is
a feature of Nokia phones in general. The sound (voice) quality
is pretty good to. On the down-side, however, it's bulky, heavy
(114g) and ugly. I'd really only recommend this model to someone
who wants an cheap, idiot-proof phone. Personally, I've had enough
of it, and have just ordered the Samsung V200, which should be delivered
tomorrow. Woohoo!

By Far this is the best phone i have had to date, For those who
wonder where the Calendar is remember you have a reminder option.
The Java games you can d/load for this phone are outstanding. Splinter
Cell Rules ! . The Picture editor for this fone is Brill and the
Phone Book is easily to use. As Always Nokia Have done it again!

This is a good phone. I have had this phone for half a year and
no problem with it. The phone is very fast unlike all the new phones.

no, the joined buttons make no difference, they're there 4 show.
hope that's answered ur question. i've had my 3410 4 a year now,
an just today i have upd8d it 2 a Sharp GX10i- it's the best thing
i've ever done. compared 2 even some of the older nokia phones,
this phone (3410) is INCREDIBLY average; not recomennded to anyone
except someone maybe of the older genaration who likes phones with
easy menu systems, and not too many arty-farty features (gx10i).

I am considering to buy the Nokia 3410 but have my doubts about
it. I am wondering that because the buttons are joined together
when you try to press 5 it will also press 6? If you can answer
my problem please just post it here. It seems like a great phone

Before i bought this phone, i only had a Trium Mars phone before.
I had also used 3310's of my friends and family. I have found the
3410 to be an excellent phone to own. The 3410 does not have irritating
buttons which the previous 3310 had. It also has green and red buttons
which my Trium phone had. The games are good, and the whole phone
is simple to use. It is also 'trendy' looking!!!! The only problem
is, as a Nokia phone, when writing predictive texts, the keys you
press to access functions is backwards, so this takes a bit of getting
used to. Apart from this, i really like this phone. :-)

Ok - Just to have it said: Nokia 3410 is a GREAT choice in Nokia
phones. Reliability and programs are very good, and fullfills most
of my needs, but only MOST of them.. There are a two things I miss
on it: Battery capacity (to low) and a CALENDAR !!! This must be
the only Nokia without, and I wonder WHY ??? Ads tells us it's there,
but calling the Nokia company: What...? Well...? Uhh...? In the
end they had to admit that it wasn't there (Even their own webpage
said it should be) They THINK it is possible to download a java-based
calendar, but so far no luck, so if anyone out there knows where
to find one for d/l - PLEASE post it here!
