I've had my T720 for a couple of months and I don't get the reviews!
Bad screen, false, very clear and large! Bad reception, false, very
clear, probably your sevice provider. Poor battery life, try CHARGING,
just plug it into a CHARGER at the end of the day and OMG it's always
charged, unless your stuck on a desert island with no electricity
5 days out of every week it's your fault not the T720!! The web
browser is slow, false, fast as any dial up! The flip top is poorly
made, wrong, it is very sturdy, try opening it without trying to
be Captain Kirk and you should have no problems! The ringer is too
low, so wrong again, if anything it is too loud, once again I think
it is the fault of the user, maybe just wants a whole restaurant
to hear his new and irritating download of Snoop Dog's latest! Email
is not bad although this feature I find kind of stupid on a phone
at this price, if you need it pay $500-$600 for a BlackBerry 7780!
Text messaging I leave to the kids, but it works fine too! This
may also apply to kids too, the ringer cannot be heard in clubs!!
Too bad! The design is superb and funtional compaired to other flip
tops. and the large keyboard is user friendly. I have had Motorola's
before and they have always been a good product. After reading the
reviews I found it interesting that about 90% of the complainers
are from the US, while about 90% of the reviews from outside the
US are positive, go figure! Seems like the phone works well in the
outback of Australia, the heat of Gabon and the urban center of
London but fails to make the grade in Knee Bend Nebraska? Too bad
as Motorola is an American owned and run company! I give this phone
a good rating as it deserves 5 stars!!

alright this phone is pretty miserable but its got some good features
to. one good thing is that the phone is fully customizable i mean
u can change EVERYTHING. it is also the most durably phone i ever
had. (i left it buried in snow for 3 days and it came out fine)
the web access also isnt bad. now time for the disadvantages (to
say the least) this phone is so quiet its practically mute!!! seriously,
if u stick it in your pocket you will never hear it. not even in
the quietest of places. also i dont think ive ever had more then
2 bars or service on this phone and ive had it for about 6 months.
if u want a neat little toy that u can screw around ith (light up
batteries/antennas, bad@$$ covers etc) then this phone is perfect.
if u actually need a phone, do not get this hunk of garbage.

As seen in other reviews, the phone resets to a purple screen, drops
calls all the time, I have had it replaced by Cingular FIVE times,
the last two were refurbs (they don't tell you that when they hand
them to you) There is a tag under the battery, that is not there
on a factory phone. I broke my contract with Cingular, b/c they
wanted me to buy another phone, or file a false insurance claim
(saying it was lost or stolen). I gave them 10 days to replace the
phone with no money out of my pocket, they declinded to do so. I
paid for the phone, it no longer works, and was replaced due to
factory defects 5 times in 7 months. Clearly voiding the contract.
You can't make calls on a broken piece of junk. The customer service
was a joke. I've been a good customer for a long time, I do not
understand why they would not replace a phone that cost them pennies
on the dollar, to keep a good customer, with multiple lines. The
phone is junk.

Compared to the Nokia 3585 I used to have, I thought it was a good
phone (even thought the Nokia had better reception). Compared to
the LG LX5450 that I traded it in for, it is somewhat on the cheesy
side. Being that this was the first flip phone that I owned, I found
it to be very user friendly and the color screen was phenomenal.
However, there were a couple of things that eventually cause me
to exchange it. First, this phone doesn't have an easy to use alarm
clock function. To get it to alarm, you have to set a calendar reminder,
which proves to be somewhat of a hassle. Secondly, the battery life
on this phone sucks! Once fully charged, it's supposed to give you
90 - 225 minutes of talk time. The most I could get was just under
60 minutes. I had to charge the d_ _n thing every night. On top
of that, I realized (after having another flip phone to compare
it to) that the Motorola T720 is not as sturdy as the phone I am
currently using. As far as phones go, y ou could do a lot worse
than this phone, but you could also do a lot better.

This thing is by far the worst phone I have ever had. I've had it
for a year and both chargers have failed on me (I keep getting an
"Unable to Charge" error now), the battery life is nowhere near
a full day, reception is miserable - calls drop for no reason -
and the thing turns itself off if I look at it wrong. It's slow
and unresponsive. My Samsung phone was better than this piece of
junk. I can only say that I am now back in the market looking for
another phone. Stay away from this one and shame on Motorola for
even putting this on the market the way it is. Their Q/A group must

I orginally purchased the T720 for myself ( I am a cellular agent)
My phone never worked right, voice dial wouldn't work, couldn't
hear well off phone, phone wouldn't not charge all the time and
phone beeped every minutes losing service. My husband next wanted
to get a T720 so he went and got one, his wouldnt' charge correctly
either. So finally his stopped charging all together and the hinge
on mine broke so I shipped them off. I recieved my phone back w/
replaced hinge and they replaced the inside so it will charge. I
got his back and was told it had water damage. This is not so. I
wouldn't have either bothered sending it off if it got wet. With
me being an Alltel cellular agent I have seen many T720 phones the
past few months with the same problem and I give them motorola's
warranty address and ask them to send the phones to them. Noone
has came back to me telling me thei phone wasn't replaced but it
makes me wonder since Moto is trying to say the hubby's phone has
water damage when I no it doesn't. I am fixing to contact Alltel
since I have 1 T20 left to sell and ask them to take it back since
they seem to be poorly made. I switched to an LG330 and love it.
I get service again and can actually hear calls now!!!!! p.s. and
it charges when i need it to

serious qestions about its qaulity. when you open it the plastic
sqeaks and groans like its gonna fall of. this is also not a durable

screen doesent work. as far as operation, i think this thing does

I'm so frustrated w/this phone, it phone makes me want to break
my contract with AT&T and go to another service provider. I'm a
broke college student, unable to afford some other phone at the
moment (because I spent $200 on this one), so I've had to stick
it out with this horrible, Motorola t720 for a little more than
a year! In the span of a 10 minute conversation, they'd be 2 dropped
calls--The phone would magically turn off, bringing me to a purple
tinted screen. It's takes ages to turn the phone ON, it takes minutes
to load, the "Please wait" screen frequently appears when I attempt
to go to my phone book. There's many glitches--I can't even begin
to list what else is wrong w/this phone because it gives me a headache.
All you NEED in a phone is decent reception, the ability to ACTUALLY
MAKE calls, HEAR people on the other end, flip thru your phone book
for numbers, -- But you can't even do basic things w/a Motorola
t720!!!

Wish there was the option for NO star. Earlier I posted a review
( Back in Dec.)of this phone and I gave it pretty good marks. At
the time I had noticed no malfunctions and was very satisfied. That
was until just a couple of weeks ago when out of no where the phone
started smelling when being charged, and then suddenly smoke rolled
out of it. Had nothing to do with the battery , nor the charger,
as both were tested and proved to be perfectly functional. The board
inside the phone decided that it didn't like it's whole 3 volts
and went in to melt-down. The cingular tech. was amazed. He then
gave me a new phone and charger and 750ma batt. and off I went.
I never even made it home before this thing started doing things
that I had read about in the postings several times, i.e, randomly
turning itself on and off, and all the while saying that it had
a full charge. Thinking that I may need to give it a chance to sit
over-night on a charge, I returned home with it and did just that...16
hours of being plugged in.In the morning I left for work with the
phone and remebered that I needed to call and wake my daughter for
school, and when I called her I got about two minutes conversation
off before it shut-down and said the batt. was low again, only to
turn itself back on moments later claiming it was full again, and
again moments later of it went. It did this all day. Finally, a
co-worker who also had a Moto sugested that we try my batt. in his
phone, and sure as heck...it worked fine, but was about half discharged.
After work I returned to cingular with the phone, and what was amazing
to ME was that when the tech. came from the back room where they
do their "Techy" thing, he was holding in his hand...yep, a T-720
and he proceeded to explain to some lady how he just didn't understand
why her phone was doing whatever it was doing, but that he would
replace it with new guts. I very calmly explained that if this phone
wasn't replaced with another brand that I would be heading for jail
as he was heading for the hospital. The folks at cingular as well
as motorola know full good and well that there are some very serious
issues with these phones, but the one mass-produced a bunch of them,
and so they need the other to do what they can to push them to the
market, even if it means having to swap better than half of them
out. If they can just do this long enough for the warranty to run
out, maybe they won't lose as much production money. But they need
the service providers to be "Hush Hush" about the problems...or
else! I was fortunate to make it out of there with the Nokia 3300
as even exchange, and with no prison sentence. Hope everyone will
have the same or better results

about (except a broken hinge). My four biggest complaints are 1.Very
short battery life. People have written that it lasts about 5 days.
Mine has stayed on that long too, IF YOU HAVE HAD NO CALLS! If you
are talking on the phone (which is the point btw) it lasts only
about an hour. The battery meter on the phone is not an accurate
indicator either. 2. The screen blacks out and freezes up and you
have to take the battery out to unfreeze it. 3. It rings very quietly
4. It drops calls in areas that seem to have full reception. DO
NOT BUY THIS PHONE! Kudos to those of you who have suffered through

I went for this phone because of slick design and style as replacement
to old faithful Nokia 5120. I still love the design of T720, but
using it is much less pleasure. First of all, it takes about 15
sec to tome to life and establish connection. Second, flipping it
open with one hand is a struggle. Absolutely not fun in the car.
Third, blind dialing is a challenge, the buttons are so flat, that
you can't tell one from the other, unless you really concentrate
on it. Finally, an ambitious and overloaded UI squeezed into this
phone runs real slooow and has poor usability. Just to mention that
you can't summon your quick dial numbers unless you are in the main
screen(!). Searching through the the telephone book is pain again:
if the person's name starts with say, "S" and press the "7" key
four times, the phone gives you a message that it could not find
entry starting with 7, p, q, ect. Forget searching, they don't have
page scroll, you have to scroll row by row! Well, I still can live
with all of it, but now it randomly discharges the battery, apparently,
because of an electirical short-circuit and sporadically reports
full battery after 30 sec of charge. Well, I've got one year out
of it, time to move on, will think 3 times before bying Motorola
again.

The menu system is clear, easy to use and customisable. There is
a lot of memory available for phone numbers and email addresses.
The predictive text is different from the T9 used on most other
manufacturer's mobiles, but can be got used to. The signal reception
is good, as is the call clarity. Even WAP/GPRS is quite good for
train times etc. It also looks good - alot better than other clamshells

Well, I've had this phone for about 3 months and I have to say I'm
fairly impressed with it. Before I had one of the old Fido Nokia's
that were free so this is a definite change. That and the nokia's
are a piece of crap. The flip is stylish and convenient for saving
the screen and keypads from damage. Those purple and blue lines
you get, that's called grease people, try wiping the phone off after
you use it. The biggest complaint I have is when it drops a call
suddenly. While this isn't a major thing just a minor irritation
(How hard is it to redial?) I don't have any other problems. I've
drop kicked this thing down the street and it keeps ticking like
nothing. I've had the "unable to charge" screen come up a couple
times, but simply removing the charge plug and replacing it corrects
this. As for everyone bashing the battery life, I can go 4-6 days
without a charge and talk on average of a half an hour each day
without problem. Thing is, cell phones arn't meant to replace LAN
phones, you shouldn't be talking for hours on end on one. If you
need to do that, go use a pay phone, they're everywhere anyways.
I think many of you failed to follow the vendors directions when
you got the new phone. The batteries are a certain type where they
have a first use "memory" of sorts. You have to drain them completly
on first use. (Play games, call people, whatever) then recharge
it fully without using it. (Keep it turned off as well). This takes
approx 24-48 hours. Then repeat once more. After that the battery
is set. Most people generally just have at it and plug the thing
in whenever the charge gets low. WRONG! Read the manual people,
it's all there. The hinges on the lid? Never had a problem, but
then, I don't rip mine open and jump around all insanely when I
get a call. The low quality of the speaker, had a bit of problem
with this, but it's 2 things, the volume for the speaker has to
be changed WHILE YOU'RE TALKING. Secondly if the person who you're
talking to has their volume down you arn't going to hear them worth
a damn. Busses, well, they're loud arn't they? You have to shout
anyways. That's a dumb reply. All in all it's not something worth
offering up as the greatest phone in the world, but it's also not
the worst I've come across. 3 stars for this one.

The phone has good reception and when you place it correctly on
your ear (very difficult to do), you can hear fine. The phone takes
forever to "boot-up". Navigation of the menus is OK. I've had two
T720's since December, 2003 and both developed screen problems.
Including the two T720's, I've had four Motorola phones since 1999.
The first was an analog Startac; the second (my kids are still using
it) is a Motorola digital Startac. Both Motorola Startacs are rugged
as Hummers. The only problem I've had was with the antenna (one
broke, but was easy and inexpensive to fix). Now about the main
problem with the T720. I purchased a second line with Alltel in
December, 2003 and received a Motorola T720. It is a very nice looking
phone with lots of cool features. Around 3/1/04, I noticed the screen
would not completely turn off when the phone would go into standby.
It was glowing with a slight blue glow even when the phone was closed.
This would cause the battery to disch arge in less than 8 hours.
I took the battery out and left it out several times (once for several
hours) hoping to "reset" it. This didn't work, so I took it in for
repair to Alltel. They gave me a replacement T720 (it was used).
Two weeks later (3/19/04), Alltel called to say that Motorola claimed
the phone had been damaged and that it "appeared" someone had tried
to disassemble it. Alltel wanted the replacement phone back (or
pay $165) because mine was not covered under warranty. I told them
that my phone had not been abused and I had not tried to take it
apart. I wanted it repaired! The technician and manager after examining
the phone agreed with me and sent it back to Motorola again (thanks
Alltel!). The replacement worked fine until 4/9/04, when the screen
went blank. The phone worked and the small screen on the cover worked,
but the large screen would not come on. I took that phone in and
they gave me a new T720 this time (thanks again Alltel!). Alltel
has the best reception in this area. I hope the phone lasts until
my contract is up. I plan to look for a different phone. Motorola
has the ability to make superior phones (the Startacs have been
great; rugged, great reception and easy to use). I think the T720
is a bad design and is flimsy. I definitely think there is a design
or manufacturing flaw with the T720 screen.

phone from home I have to stand beside the front window otherwise
no one can hear me or the call drops all together. For 3 weeks it
was at the repair shop. They "apparently" soldered some connection
between the circuit board and the antenna. I got it home and it
was no different then before. I know two people who have the same
phone and have had no problems with it. It seems there are some
serious duds since this is the worst cell phone I have ever owned.

on the Verizon network just about anywhere CONS: Short battery life
Can't transmit outgoing signal well Hard to hear inbound or talk
outbound without separate earbug and mike. The Verizon guy is right-I
can get incoming signal with my T720 just about anywhere. Incoming
is crystal-clear, however people I call can't hear me and drop off.
It could be Verizon's antennas can't pick me up or (more likely)
the phone can't transmit a signal worth anything. Microphone and
speaker are weak. Conversation stops when a bus passes me on campus.
Motorola has a cheap, cute, mass-produced phone. Put the software

and intermittent spontaneous power-downs. I took the phone to Verizon,
and tried a new battery to no avail. To make a long story of ignorant
people giving bad advice shorter, it turns out that removing the
battery AND LEAVING IT OUT OF THE PHONE FOR A MINUTE OR LONGER allows
the capacitance to discharge and will cause the phone to properly
reset when powered on again. Quickly swapping batteries or momentarily
removing the battery then replacing it may not be sufficient to
get it to reset. Once this was pointed out to me, the phone reset
just fine and works perfectly again.

break in the same way. Less than three months later, the Motorola

Whenever it shows good reception, you make a call and it suddenly
jumps back to no reception. You charge the phone for 5 minutes and
then it says charge complete when ya use it for 2 minutes and goes
dead. It always blanks out in a middle of a call, Mmode, or when
you flip the phone on or off. A little too big for young teenagers
to use for such a piece of a crud company's products. Speaker is
so low that i cant even hear it in my own house. Takes nearly 45
seconds to start up. And then when it finds reception after startup,
you go to games, phonebook, calender, etc, it tells you please wait
for 15 seconds. The lcd screen has no protection like nice phones
do. It is easy to be scratched anywhere, anytime. I fell down on
that floor and now the whole lcd scre en, split, and everything
in the front of the phone is scratched until it was see through.
It was definetly not worth buying this piece of junk with the plan

For you folks complaining about battery-life on this phone, and
the few performance questions you may have; It's all about being
smarter than the phone. I repeatedly hear people who have used mostly
Nokia products and the such in the past, slambing the Ease Of Use
of this phone. That's like being an Apple Computer OS2 user forever
and suddenly jumping blind to an IBM and Microsoft Windows based
system, expecting to know all the commands and funtions in an hour...Clue
phone,it's for YOU! I wonder if you even hear it ringing! Things
just do not work that way. Electronics, baby, electronics. Say you've
been using an old Sony ProLogic Receiver for the past ten years
in your home, and today you went out and bought a new Pioneer Elite
7.1 theater receiver with multible sound fields. Do you really think
that your Sony knowlege will do you a bit of good when setting-up
this state-of-the-art Elite Theater Processor? Well, certainly that
it's taking you a while to set it up means it 's junk, right? It
takes time and trial and error before you'll get used to ANY new
electronic device, which brings us to the battery issue: Your new
Chevy truck has a 350 c.i.d. Vortech V-8 engine in it. Chevy equipped
that truck with a whole bunch of gas-pedal to shove to the floor,
and when you do, that baby takes off like a bat-out-of-hell but,
when you nail it like that you can just about see your fuel guage
move with the increased consumption, so chances are, if you're smart,
even though the power and pedal are always there, you're probably
not going to be riding all over town with the pedal mashed to the
floor. Drive in moderation and suddenly you're getting twice the
milage to a tank of gas. Where I'm going with this is that there
are features on the T-720 that can and should be configured for
power savings. You can adjust how long the back-light stays on and
things of the nature, and I promise you that if you take the time
to CORRECTLY configure your phone (requires a touch of reading...hope
you're able)you will find that this phone is actually a super nice
offering. As far as the lid hinge...hyper-extend your elbow a few
times and you'll soon find the error of your ways! Don't get so
excited when you receive a call and that lid will last a very long
time :-) My brother and I both have the T-720 and he too was having
short run-time from his bat. I had him go in and hit the master
re-set and then re-configure the phone and now he's amazed at the
extended time he gets between charges. It's a telephone, not a television,
therefore you don't need that back-light on at all times. I mean,
come on, what do you do, sit and look at the display the entire
time you're talking? I like my phone too, but I'm not so excited
about it that I sit and look at it for hours! There is more to MY
life than my silly phone, and I hope there is for you as well.

What a piece of junk!! This is by far the worst cell phone I have

sturdy little phones. Well I recently moved and had to change from
AT&T to Alltel. When I found out that the T720 was only $49 after
a mail in rebate I couldn't believe it! I thought it would be a
great little phone, looks good, nice and small, supposedly has good
talk time. Well about a week after I had the phone that all went
out the window. First of all the battery life on this phone is worthless.
I can talk for about 45 minutes when fully charged before it goes
dead. The antenna is weak, flimsy and offers poor reception. I'd
say at least 4 out of 5 calls would be dropped in the middle, and
that was when my phone would actually ring!! The next worst thing
was the blue red screen of death! Randomally and for no reason the
screen would blank out for a few seconds and then flash back on,
saying no service and sometimes took up to a full minute to recover
service. My battery stopped charging, after being plugged in for
fewer than five minutes my phone would say fully charged, you turn
it on and the battery was still dead. Keep in mind that this phone
was only 4 months old. Lets just end it there by saying that I sent
my phone in to get it fixed, motorola sent it back without fixing
it saying that it was user neglect! Let me tell you that there was
nothing neglected about that phone, it was just a big piece of junk!
Needless to say I went down to the store today and purchased a brand
new Nokia 3585i today and am very satisfied. From now on I'm sticking

This phone was forced upon me when my carrier was bought out by
another system. At the time I was using the Motorola V60i and was
pleased with the durability and ease of use in the extreme enviorments
of Southern Arizona, but when I was handed the T720 I knew that
there was going to be problems. Simply handling it and you understand
that this is not a phone capable of taking any rough handling. The
plastic is not "high impact" and the hinges are very fragile. The
V60 it replaced had a metal case and cover as well as high impact
plastic on the inside facing. Outside in the sun, the color screen
if VERY difficult to read. I find myself seeking shade or covering
the face with my body trying to read the screen. The color screen
becomes more of an impediment than a feature... Battery life is
another issue. My V60 could pretty much run for up to 5 days without
a charge in standby mode, but the T720 needs charging within 24
hours. Not good when you are miles from an outlet. Make a series
of calls and you have about 16 hours of battery life... When there
is a better selection of phones with my carrier, I will be exchanging
this one for something that can take the enviorment and with the
battery life to go more than a day without a charge.

before but i decided to give motorola a chance. It is an 02 contract
phone and ive had a problem since i got it.1-when you go to charge
it up it keeps saying "unable to charge" on the screen. the ringtones
are too low and the standard ringtones are c@@p!!!!!!!!!.and why
does a modern phone like that take so long to turn on??30 seconds
at least!apart from that it is a very cool phone with colour screen
which has not bad colour and it is very light and compact. cheers!

nice phone to start with but after a while gets frustrating as the
color screen is poor in direct sunlight. so on the odd sunny days
you have to find some shade. Also the phone is very plasticy, when
making calls you often hear the phone cracking away- not very pleasent. Also
the maximum volume is poor, if you are lookin to buy this phone
i would advise not keeping it for a long time

It is great and i think that it is the best phone i have ever used.................the
only downside is the sound level it is a little low, but otherwise
it is great. I mean you can still hear and answer all of your calls
it is just not the highest sound ever. If i was you i would buy
it!

Bought this phone in January 2003, everything was fine apart from
not being able to hear the ringtones(should have normal tones as
well),after 6 month's phone switched itself off (power amp failure),replacement
given the day after, after 2 day's use could not ring out or ring
in, hardly any signal in area's of known good signal, replaced again
the day after....Not a bad phone, stylish and very user friendly, good
quality screen and colour's....But at the end of my contract it's
back to NOKIA.

I am a Nokia user. Quite disappointed with the sudden blank out
screen & easy to crack body. Have been thinking of getting either
T720/@Samsung A800 very soon. There's not much price difference
in both phones in my area. The good point about T720 is its colour
screen & I heard that it's easier to use than Samsung phones. Does
anyone experience using both phones? Is the phone's body more lasting?

I recently purchased this phone and I LOOOOVE it. The only downside
was a low battery time, but that was eaisly solved with the extended
battery. The screen is wonderful, the sounds are fabulous, and when
I am extremely bored, I have the ring creator to play around with.
It has wonderful reception, easy access to all of the menus and
such. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Quite a few reviews for this one make the phone appear quite bad....However
this just ins't the case, yes the ringtones are not as loud as say
your Nokia on level 5. but they are loud enough to be heard, and
are of a very high quality. Yes you can send a text to someone not
in your phone book, I've got the full version of Motogp on my phone,
its not my type of game, but the java makes the game & graphics
run smoothly, and compared to other phones the graphics are of a
high quality. The phone might not look as sleek as say the Samsung
T100, but it is a lot easier and better to use than the Samsung.
Overall this phone is excellent, easy to use, good sound & graphics.
You will not be disappointed with this phone.

Great phone while it lasted, but three months after I got it the
plastic hinge on the right side broke, making the phone unusable.
Figured it would be covered in the warranty, but figured wrong.
I guess making breakable plastic hinges on high stress areas is
not considered a manufacture's defect. $350 down the toilet...Don't
buy this phone unless you have a replacement contract and don't
mind your flip phone flipping off it's hinges

The phone is decent, playing java games like SplinterCell downloaded
form gameloft.com is a plesure,which could compare with Gameboy's
colour games,You can also DIY a wallpaper with your own picture, but
consider it will cost you 20 bucks in mymobilesoft.com. I currently
live in London as a student,my Moto T720 is a Vodafone version,
which didn't come with java game Tetris, does anyone here can help
me to find this game ready to download for T720? thanks!

I have had my phone for about six months and have expirienced no
problems. The things i found disappointing were the volume of the
ringtones, the fact that you only get the demo versions of motogp,
tetris and breakout,no stunt man! Then the fact that you can't text
anyone who's not already in your phone book, the text "outbox" is
non-existant, and the fact that without the camera you cant send
any pics that weren't already on the phone when it came. Also don't
buy it without the camera, you can't buy find it anywhere, not even
on the official website!! One last moan is that the phone takes
at least thirty seconds to switch on! these are only very superficial
things, the phone is excellent and im very glad I bought it!! This
was my first mobile and i found that as long as you skimmed through
the manual it was a very user-friendly phone. you can get hold of
a lot of free java games, including the whole version of breakout.
Another good thing is that the memory is huge, you get tons of ringtones
with the phone, I have downloaded ten large polyphonics to go with
it, at least thirty pics from the esato website and then I got rid
of tetris and got four new java games!! Wap is great on the phone,
it's so easy to use and java is outstanding, the screen size is
a real bonus, twice the size of the sony ericsson t68i! well worth
the money.

Stylish design, large colour screen, interchangeable front and back
cover, decent battery life etc, all make Motorola T720 a great choice
for those who don't need a phone camera and desperate for colour
screen. But,as for bad points, Motorola still need to improve its
polyphonic ringtones compare to Samsung T100,the menu also need
to simplify which took a new Motorola user like me two days to understand
it,thanks to the User Manual,I would be really greatful if they
give another 20 pages to explain this phone more detailed. It's
been a nightmare to download stuffs from HELLOMOTO, there are three
ways you can get your ringtones or java games downloaded, I have
tried SMS purchase, spent few quids to send a SMS messgae and never
get a reply,I have also tried credit card purchase, this time they
reply very quick,by sending a message to your MOTO, then just follow
the download instruction......finally, what I got was not the ringtone
but a error message saying the data server is not available.

I do like the T720 but with regards to the last review, the battery
life isn't that long!. It's abit tiresome trying to download games
as they take a while and don't take 2 minutes like they say it will.
So at £1.50 a min it works out quite expensive. Overall the phone
is good, this is the first Motorola I've had I usually stick to
Nokia's but seeing as this one was free how could I resist!.
