Advatages :1) Highly durable metal body ( even you through your phone it will work as good as new). 2 ) FM and Music play back is superb(surround and bass effects ) especially using Motorola ear phone. 3)Display is very good. you can't even a compare High end model display with l9 display. just get a nokia or sony higher end mobile and play a same video with l9 and compare. love l9 display 4) Good battery life. Disadvantages : 1) Very slow response (especially when you type a text for surfing in the internet) 2) Poor camera quality. no brightness r contrast adjustment for the picture is given in the software. Which will give you a dull picture and also no matter how you change the light condition (sunny, cloudy…etc) or light exposure (+1,+2) the picture remains dull. very bad picture quality 3) the l9 key pad will come off quickly 4) the back panel paint once got damaged it will keep on peeling off. 4) Data transfer from other devices to l9 through Bluetooth is only of half the speed of what nokia or sony can do. Too bad 5) Does not compatible with all java software. If you need only good music then go for it Else Strongly Suggest not to buy Motorola l9

i am using motorola slvr l9 for a year now, its a best phone for someone who have never used a nokia phone before becoz its features are opposite to that of nokia phones.Compared to other phones i found l9 has a good sound quality ,which gives the best bass effect on loudspeakers as well as headphones, the FM radio is very clear, the screen is scratch resistant(screen is very clear, bright and colourful),hard exterior, looks good in dark, camera is clearer compared to nokia's 2.0 megacamera ,sound recording is clear, cannot be effected by virus,a phone with high security fetures ,But,the problems are ,the hard keypad makes noise when pressed, cannot install themes ,can install only java applications, cannot play loud music in noisy environment,a delicate headphone which cannot resist rough use,not all java application works.Overall, its a man's phone, and for guys who hate a very girly user friendly phone like nokia.A cheap phone with new technology in its category.

i m using motorola l9 but its a piece of junk. The operating system is very slow as compared to other phones, hardly any games work or software, notepad files not supported, sound quality is clear but low.But sound and camera quality is better then nokia. It takes so long time to load images and it loads 3 images at a time instead like nokia you can surf any images as fast as you want.If u just want to talk and listen to music this mobile is best

this is the worst Mobile i ever seen. it is very slow, and it has a lot of malfunction like you can hear noise when you are talking to someone and the other person you talk to can hear it also. it sometimes disconnect the line by it self. ring tone can be changed without your notice. I took it back to firm where i bought it from and they made a new software for it but ... all problems still on it. i hate this mobile and the owner firm, i will never go for Motorola again. not only me... but i can convince all my people surrounded me to ignore it forever. thanks

I HAD A MOTOROLA L7 AND ITS MUCH BETTER. THE L7 HAD BIGGER MEMORY, BETTER QUALITY SOUND AND CAMERA AND LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER. ALSO THE L7 IS NOT AS EXPENSIVE AS THE L9 BUT I WOULD ALWAYS GO FOR THE L7.

The good things: * Compact, "robust" design and looks nice in the Evening/Dark when in use. *FM Radio, and sound is pretty good. * Edge * Bluetooth works well. The Bad things: * Very poorly designed menu system UI experience * Slow button to action response rate. The delay when texting is painful to say the least. * Very poor capability for listening clearly during phone calls. * Buttons are relativey tough/hard to press for reaction. * Camera quality is poor. * Graphics is rubbish. Overall subjective view is that I will probably never look twice at a Motorola again after this one.

this phone is the perfect first one as it has everything you want and is easy to work.however most of my freinds that own this phone have cracks in the screen as it breaks quite easily.if you are very carefull withb your phone dont let this put you off. Also it doesnt have much room for songs it has about enough for 12 short songs

i suggest u all not to go for motorola. after buying this phone within 3 weeks it stopped working(it got stuck, i bought it in big bazzar they refused to replace or exchange & they took a week to repair, they said some software problem & also said they reloaded the software). And also in daylight(sunlight) screen is not at all visible & the graffics is pathetic. u can't add softwares like Nokia phones. so i strongly suggest not to go for moto cellphones.
