I just got the motorola c350 and I believe it is an o.k. phone.
I mean what do you expect it is not the expensive. The screen is
small and the color are not all that but still who cares, all these
people are winers and expect too much. If they wanted a real phone
they should have payed a real phone price. All these people want
a little too much, also this phone is not the difficult to use once
you have had a motorola before, but if you have had a nokia it is
totally different. If you do not have a lot of money and are a teenager
and want a stylish small lightweight phone then get. But if you
really want a solid buiilt phone with all the latest feature spend
the money and buy a nokia or more expensive motorola.

At first i heard many bad reviews about this phone but then others
seem to love it. And due to me having a c331 the predecessor to
this phone I have decede to get this phone which in america almost
nobody has. Not only that but the problem with the first phone was
just the battery life, and now that they have improved the battery
life made the phone in color and T-mobile(wireless provider) is
replacing my old one due to battery life now I have decied to take
it and not buy a nokia. Even though nokias definetly have a certain
well-built feel to them I prefer my phone to be light and small
and I do not mind the plasticky fell because i buy I new phone every
year anyway when my contracts ends. And also everybody and their
mother has a nokia so I prefer to buy some thing different.

compact little phone which has lots of style! The only bad point
I can think of is that the buttons are really small and are not
very good if you have large fingers. I got mine when they first
came out in about July 2003, Since then I take it everywhere with
me because it is so good to use. I luv downloading ringtones and
wallpapers on the wap service because it is so easy to use. I also
think the games are brill but I wish there aws a facillity so you
could download games. Shame! Thanks 4 your time luv Emma xxx

I got the phone 'cos' I thought it looked and felt great, but in
action the phone messed up. The battery to be exact. After about
a month of usage, I realized I couldn't depend on the battery power
for a whole day without it running out on me. I am just an average
phone user, maybe about four to five calls a day of not more than
three minutes average. Phone design is good, weight is great but
battery power is a disaster.

Where to start? Battery life could be better - but then if I could
leave all the features alone I reckon it would last a lot longer.
Not loud enough, but depends where you're listening to it! Fiddly
to text - YES! Not so much the predictive text (which I've got the
hang of now), it's the key size. Not a phone for serial texters
perhaps? Having ggot all that out of the way. It's a fun phone -
only two base tracks on the MotoMixer - but go online to the Motorola
site and access a lot more for free (just a WAP call to download).
There's a lot of features there for a small price. It's not the
fastest of phones, but for the price be willing to put up with that.
Virgin network, who I'm with, seem to be slow anyway compared with
O2 who I used to be with. Can't get the voice dial to work - guess
that's an operator problem , not a phone fault. But I like it. The
menu system is fine, don't understand the complaints - but then,
I've never owned a Nokia though my daughter has (don't unde rstand
their popularity - fussy articles!). Modem capability with the PC220
software a big bonus for the price.

Bit of a mixed reception for this one from what I've read here.
It's not perfect - not very loud, the (16 voice) ringtones are very
tinny compared with my daughter's (40 voice) Samsung A800, which
has a lovely melodious sound, the vibrate alert isn't all that strong,
the texting fiddly with the small slippery keys. But hey... the
colours are good, the wallpaper, animation and download ability
are great. The games are fun - incidentally, I think it's because
the games are addictive that the battery doesn't last very long!!
I find I'm always fiddling with the phone - either SMS, games or
playing with the Motomixer so not surprising that the tiny battery
soon runs out of juice. I'm waiting for the data suite software
to arrive which will allow me to edit and download wallpaper, animations,
music etc without using WAP, and best of all with the software,
I'll be able to use the phone as a modem for my laptop when I'm
out and about - not bad for a budget buy. Think I'll still hang
on to my old handsets for texting though - don't laugh, a Philips
C12 and Siemens A36, both indestructible little gems, even though
they're so basic. Go on - buy one, you know you want to!

It had color, polyphonic ringtones and it was tiny! But after christmas
i started looking at my friends phones (samsungs n nokias) and they
have even better features! Downloadable stuff at the push of a button
and they have a computer style layout. The range of backgrounds
on this phone r poor and theres about 50 faces which look stupid.
Not enough moving graphics. The EMS is good and so is the moto mixer,
but i cant seem to find websites with motorola composer tones ANYWHERE!
At the moment the only thing i'm happy about it is the size, the
fact you can change the covers, and that it Has colour. Why dont
motorola invent a camera attachment for this fone because if u set
ur theme 2 grafiti and look at the screensaver, it seems capable
to view actual pictures, and talking of themes, there should be
a lot more instead of downloading them. I would recomend this fone
but PLEASE MOTOROLA invent more accsesories n stuff 4 this fone!!!

I have mixed feelings about this phone. Bought it before Christmas.
And in the Value for Money stakes on PAYG it was hard to beat at
the time. Nice range of polyphonic tones and the Motomixer is a
nice touch, even though I'd like more than 2 base tracks to play
around with. Still, I've got a half decent drumbeat ringtone tone
and a separate piano one that I mixed. And I didn't waste £6 on
something that sounded like it was mixed by somebody even more tone-deaf
than me. I like the compact little handset, but I reckon they've
been a bit stingy with the screen space, especially with the 'ph
book' and 'messages' commands taking up valueable space. And it's
a bit of a scrollathon to do more than a 2-lined text message or
some WAP browsing. I think the newer C450 has a slightly bigger
screen as well as downloadable Java applications. Also on the minus
side, the navigation around the menus is poor. Took me ages to learn
how to launch a WAP session. If anyone could tell me how to do a
quick lock of the phone without going through a zillion menus to
do it, I would be eternally grateful. There must be a shortcut,
but try telling the phone manual writers that. Here's a couple of
tips to stop you all going crazy: to combat the low ringing volume
(even when set to max), you have to set the ring style to ring and
vibrate. Problem is, the vibrate kicks in way, way before the ringtone.
To stop the noisy key tones, go to ring styles, change ring detail
and scroll down to key volume to alter it. To switch off the music
when you turn the phone on/off, keep pressing the left arrow key
until you get to vibrate or silent. But remember to switch it up
again to get the ring/vibrate mode up when you need to take calls
in noisy environments, cos you'll never hear that ringtone. My Nokia
and Siemens-owning mates admire the C350's nice range of backgrounds
and colour schemes, but as I've learnt with phones, there's more
to mobile life than a pretty face. So, to recap, I do n't hate this
phone by any means, but I'm so glad I haven't got this on contract.
I'm sure I'll be trading it in for a better and more user friendly
model (probably a colour Nokia or Siemens) before too long. Or wait
that bit longer until more 1 mega pixel camera-phones appear on
the UK market.

first get it, but you get used to it after a while. if you hav a

not really advise it, since the select button is on the opposit

cannot find any ringtones that you can dial in, since this is a

Despite big brand names, you can't always trust the product. The

The motorola C350 from the my experience and reviews i've received
is that the C350 is a really crappy piece of junk. Whilst it might
look good, from the box, in reality it is really an ugly duckling.
The phone has such a major plastiky feel to it that it almost seems
fragile and likely to break if you drop it a few times. Not the
mention, due to the fact that it's a multimedia phone with colours
and all, all the more such a complicated piece of equipment with
tons of features will spoil easily in such a flimsy casing. MMS
phones are good, however only if the processor of the phone can
handle the functions to function at an appropriate speed. Motorola
has tried to create a highly featured budget phone, resulting with
an overloaded phone without a proper processor to handle such efficiently.

The phone had its advantages and its disadvantags. The phone was
small and light with a reasonable battery life without recharge.
The colour screen was quite flashy and it had a few good preset
ringtones. I enjoyed the MOTOMIXER but the fact that you only had
2 base tracks made it abit boring after a while. The alarm clock
was quite a good polish and I think MOTO GP had very good graphics.
The phone is FLIMSY, which is the main point, every time I drop it,
even just a few inches of the floor it automaticly switches of for
some reason. It is VERY PLASTICY and looks like it costs 10p for
every case to be built. The screen is extremly vunerable to scatches
so I had to spend another £10 on a phone case which is also crappy.
Astrosmash and Snoods are PISS BAD and I think that the games should
have soundtrack to them, Beep Beep is like putting cow pat into
perfect trifle. The speed of the WAP services is absolutly appaling,
and so you get charged something like a FIVER for about 1 page that
you have read. I did enjoy the fact that you could make your own
monophonic ringtone I made a lot of themes of popular films and
TV shows. The wallpapers and screensavers are very rusty and there
are a very crap choice of them. Over all I'd reccomend this phone
for young teenagers without alot of savings but the quality of the
phone is not so good as alot of NOKIAS that I've seen. I think that

Don't do what I did and spend too much time being impressed with
the specs/features for the money and not enough time reading reviews
such as this. I purchased one thinking it had such nice specs for
the price, but that soon all came to an end. I wasn't already attending
anger management classes like some other guy posted, but I'm almost
at the stage now with this phone that I think I need to go!!! arfgh!!!
This phone really p*sses me off completely. But funnily enough,
I'm certain its already off the market in Australia. My girlfriend
and I bought this phone in the space of about 3 months and not long
after that they have disappeared from all shops! And we bought the
phone just when it was released. Problems are: - - Extremely slow
response, its seriously under powered with its processor chip. You
can finish a game of cards before the phone has responded to whatever
you pressed. This I think was the most frustrating thing, the shocking
response and lag. I like to be on the ball and think quickly, and
this phone can't keep up with how quickly I like to press the buttons
and quickly find my info or ring people etc. This leads to you waiting
around for the piece of technology all day long, frustrating. -
SMS is a pain, over complicated, not as nice as Nokia predict-text.
- Why should I need to go through like 5 confirmation stages to
send a messages once I've typed it. "Yes send", "finished", "please
send", "Are you sure?", "really sure?", "ok" etc. ridiculous programmers
at motorola who thought this was user friendly? shame on you. -
Why did they bother putting those dud games on there, the style
of games would be fun if the processor could handle it. You press
the keys and wait patiently for the phone to respond, which results
in bad lag and you always get killed by the aliens. Its a rort so
the phone always wins. - There is an alarm, but its called "datebook"
and its the most cryptic anti-userfriendly thing I've ever been
punished with using. Even after you select today's date, and then
set the time, it has an error and tells you "PLEASE SELECT A FUTURE
DATE". So you have to select today's date again. Then say you have
the "datebook" alarm set for 7am tomorrow morning but you turn the
phone off deliberately because it was annoying you. Then at 5pm
the next day you turn it back on, as soon as you turn it on, it
screams the alarm in your face because its logic says "5pm is after
7am, and I haven't sounded the alarm yet, so I will just play the
alarm now". seriously flawed logic. - I also got the intermittent
beeps that just stayed on when the phone was new. I also had to
remove the battery for it to shuddap. Some serious bug there. -
It has some stupid bit called "my numbers" which is like a text
file. Once you put numbers in there you can't do anything with them,
why is this separate and less functional than the main phonebook!?
- The volume is very poor. I can never hear it ring when I have
a nice polyphonic ringtone selected, I need to change it to both
vibrate and some piercing ringtone so that I know its ringing. And
the vibrate is weak too. - The battery doesn't last very long at
all now either. - Dust under the screen was yes a terrible problem!!!
Within 1 week from brand new, it was covered with dust that you
couldn't easily clean out. So I took it apart for a clean out, but
soon enough its back. I mean, did any idiots from motorola actually
ever test this junk heap? No way, its had to real usability testing,
they just made it and said "lets make money now, get it out in the
shops!" On the bright side, its compact, very nice size but buttons
are too small and plasticy, and it seemed pretty strong until I
damaged it in fits of rage. Its feature packed for the money, but
its just tricks to get you to buy, yes it is feature packed, but
nothing had been properly tested, plenty of software bugs and speed
issues. As a result, once I threw my C350 out of my garage onto
the pavement which scratched it all. Then another time I squeezed
the hell out of it which permanently put a pile of red pixels on
my screen, so now I cannot read everything. And squeezing it also
broke the microphone, people can't hear me now. So its a new phone
for sure.. Now Motorola will never take my phone back because its
scratched etc, but really its their fault. This is corporate bullying,
design and make money from a pile of crap, people damage it on purpose,
then they lose their money: stupid me. I to am going back to a simple
clunky NOKIA. NOKIA seem to have done so much more user-friendliness
design and consideration with the phones, buttons and menus. OH
AND THE BIGGEST problem how could I forget. You know how its some
legal requirement that mobile phones now have to let you ring out
emergency (911 in US, 000 in Australia) even while the keypad is
locked? Well on every other phone it will only register that you've
dialed 000 after the keypress of the third zero. On this phone,
even with the keypad locked, if you bump 9 or 0 or 1, it will beep
while in your pocket. So 0-0-0 will go "beep beep beep" and then
wait for you to press "CALL". On a smart NOKIA it won't beep until
after you've gone 000. So the result, is that I walk around all
day with the phone in my pocket locked, it beeps all the time and
I go "oh crap did I forget to lock my keypad, am I accidentally
ringing up people and costing me money now?" BUt no, it beeps continuously
even while locked, so you will never know will you. How annoying
you idiots. - The colour screen is very very hard to read without
the backlight. So I can never look at the phone and go "what's the
time?" I Have to unlock it, then that makes the backlight come up,
then you can read it. I hate this phone so much, that I am prepared
to keep paying it off for the remainder of my contract and pay for
a new phone just to not be angry any more.

First of all the buttons are too small, and if you are a frequent
sms'er then the buttons tend not to always function as intended.
Second, the battery life after 6 months are appalling, I have to
recharge the phone every day! Third, the colour screen is poor in
comparison to other phones. Fourth, the menu speeds are quite slow.
Fifth, if the message memory is full, eg you are using the Outbox
and Quick Notes, it only informs you the memory is full after you
have typed th message and is ready to send it. However the MyMenu,
your own menu system, is quite useful. Overall though, I would not

The buttons are a little awkward and the display is very dark when

reviews are suggesting. Sure, it took me two days to work out how
to type upper case letters (was it necessary to make it that awkward,
Motorola?) It took me one day to get the cover off (in contrast
to another reviewer who said theirs' kept falling off). Also, the
ringing volume is quite low even on it's loudest settings. The menu
isn't that easy to navigate but after a while you get used to it.
For £80.00 it's ok if you just want a phone. If you want a phone

I've had the C350 for about 2 months now and as far as I am concerned
it is an OK phone. I've owned Nokias up to now, but they always
seem to have problems with the screen and need you to keep pressing
it to see the display. So thought i'd go for the C350. I must say
i am impressed with its features for the price. I don't find texting
too bad, once you get used to it, but then i don't spend all day
texting .... I have a life! In use it is fine, shame about the alarm
clock function though, I miss that, but you can set it up through
the datebook. The games are piss-poor, but if I want to play a game
I'll use my PC! I've doenloaded a great mix from hellomoto.com and
think the polyphonic tones are good. The vibrate is very weak though.
Need to be wearing tight trousers to feel it! The keypad could be
a bit more responsive, sometimes you need to press the buttons twice.
My main complaint is the cheap plastic used to cover the screen,
it is very easily scratched and doesn't look pr etty after a while.
You can replace the covers so its not a total disaster. All in all,
for the price, its a good buy. Not as well made as my old Nokia

It's a good cell phone, nice signal reception quality, nice look,
and good accessories and applications. The bad points are: it feels
too plastic when you hold it, it's seems to be kindda flimsy and
the keys are someway not sensitive. To access something you have
to get into several menus and sub-menus, but with My Menu option
and the virtual keys you can make it work just perfect by accessing
some areas with no more than 2 key pressings. One more thing that
Motorola failed in this phone is the lack of a key that turns of
the ringer and makes it just vibrate... It's very usefull to people
who needs to turn off the ringer quick and very often... You can
just turn off the ringer by decreasing its volume until it gets
to off... It works, but there should be a faster way you to do it.
In a nutshell it's a great phone, it's worth of it's price but you
should also consider Siemens C55 that is also a great choice.

was the case, every time i pressed the keypad the case would squeak
and move as if it was going to fall off, it seemed very flimsy.
All in all i would give this phone a wide berth, there are other
better models out there for the same amountof money.

The Motorola is the 8th mobile phone that I've had and its by far
the best phone that I've had so far!!! It's well worth the money,
even if its relativly cheap (to me thats just another excellent
feature)! For ringtones and graphics it pretty good and the menu
is fairly quick and easy once you figure it out!!! Overall well
worth £100!!!

this phone is a pile of junk at best. scrap any ideas that your
getting a good phone cheap just cos it has a colour screen cos this
phone is cr@p. to send a message you have to go through what seems
an age just to get to the number you want to send it to and then
have to do it again! It just keeps asking send/done/name/ok/ready/add.
i mean for christs sake! and thats not half the story believe me
because the reaction times of the txt feature is about as quick
as a sloth on medication. i cant even be bothered to tell you more
cos i would rather eat my own liver than have any more to do with
this tack. DONT DO IT! TRUST ME.
