Curve 8300 Review
Phone
rating:
In a nutshell: The BlackBerry Curve 8300 is an excellent
device for keeping in touch with your email whilst out of the office.
With extensive push email support and a full QWERTY keypad, emailing
on your phone becomes a completely practical possibility. Other
features such as a 2 megapixel camera, media player, Bluetooth connectivity
and expandable memory complete the package.
The BlackBerry 8300 is exactly the same as the
BlackBerry Curve 8310, except
that it doesn't have GPS navigation. Read our review of the 8310,
since all of the comments apply equally to both phones, apart from
this one difference.
We have given the BlackBerry 8300 a slightly lower
rating than the 8310 and 8320 since it lacks the more advanced features
of these models. Since most people will get it free on contract,
why not choose one of the more advanced models instead?

Top class phone. Had a Nokia 9300i and it was the business but seriously
overpriced compared to this little gem. The keys are a little small
but are surprisingly easy to use once you get going. A better camera
would have got this phone a perfect 10 but it’s not bad enough
to deny it top marks here. If the next generation up's the memory
and improves the camera then I'll be first in the queue.

Blackberry is incredible, this is the second one ive had and cant
seem to get away from them. The 8300 is light, looks good and has
push email. Call quality is great but took a short while to get
used to the smaller keys. It is extremely fast to navigate and without
a doubt the phone to have for the extreme texter or emailer. The
firmware is very available off the internet and most importantly
the phone comes with full backup and restore software which to me
was priceless. Im now due for another upgrade and keep looking at
all the new Nokia high end phones but keep coming back to the Blackberry.
So i guess its now gonna be the Blackberry 8800.
